I hate the waiting, almost as much as much as the weeks of aggravation an depression...... wonder where they are, apparently Adam didn't even stop for supper, cuz he woulda called......... he's been driving all day since noon, I'm guessing they won't get here till after 1am........ so nice of Chuck to screw around on Adams time home, but guess where he is going pickin up a new guy and heading home........ I think he does this to everyone, see how far he can push the new guys, now I know why he told Adam he's been left sit many times he comes back and the guys are just gone......... wonder why....????? he's an ***..... so just thought I would catch up, nothing much new here, chickies are good the weather was ok today not as warm as I had hoped, and snow looks imminent for Sunday then pretty cold next week.......yuck do we really have to have winter, maybe it will go away after Christmas........ I would be happy if it did.........

TerriO I think I might be getting a new horsey......... a lady wants my round pen, but don't have 900 cash.....so she wants to trade me this pretty little girl and the 500 she has in cash...... what do ya think worth it? she is a dead broke 9 year old for the kids....... came from out west......

It's breed was on my maybe list. My current roo is going to carols tomorrow. In general how loud are they and good layers? Let me knew your thoughts please.

nice looking horse.. You can name it Ickabod.. I never thought I would ever see the headless horseman..
can you find enough hay for all your horses ?

Hi All!

DrH... yea... got to keep not so "tasty" I guess. LOL I was looking at a 16pt. buck before I came on here... guess my head was still thinkin' 'bout that one!

TO.... You have SEASONAL dish wear? Wow.

BBP... wow sorry about your hen... weird.

kristi.... I have a couple of Cochins.... not much for laying, but sure are fun to watch!

bl4... congrats to your daughter! If that chicken was more of a pet than livestock, I think to be safe she should offer more than $20.

judge.... with 17 hens to himself.... no wonder he's been a good boy! LOL He's probably pooped! Glad he's working out. I kinda worry when I give animals to people that I think are great. Sometimes it's not great for them. Guess that's a problem I had when I had the pet store too. If I didn't think it was a good match, I wouldn't sell the animal to them. I had had too many people call me with pets that they bought from someone else that didn't work out. BTW...rats make great starter pets for kids! Much better than gerbils or hamsters.

GR... wow, sounds like a deal to me! If your not using the round and you can feed her... sounds good. Was she a trail horse? A good trail horse will let anyone ride them and can even train inexperienced riders. If she's dead broke, she may well have been.

Well, the little cute kitty is still here. I guess the friend found out she can't have pets where they are. The one that got a home is doing great and sleeps with the daughter. Her name is Geabella where that came from I have no idea! LOL

Night All!

Good Morning Everyone! Glad to hear the Ollie will be coming home soon! Too bad it's not sooner to get the bucket on er. Hope we get the 2-3" their saying. I like to pack it down to help keep the gravel in the drive. Took the Case to Donny's yesterday.

Donny promised to talk to her. BL4 that's cool about the DD! Cindy-TO we have seasonal dishware too. Works for all seasons.

Can't think of anything else right now.

Morning all! One cuppa down....

The hens slept in late this morning. Normally when I head out to open up the doors, they are already scrounging around picking at the ground, but today they were still one roost! Maybe it's the rainy weather? I know that all I feel like doing one a rainy day is sleeping.

Kim (aka Ghost)- if you can afford the horse and house it, I'd say go for it!

bl4- I feel that any pet being killed by someone's dog is a concern. Can the dog owner restrain the dog and offer to pay for a replacement?

DH and DS9 are sick and now my throat is starting to hurt. I had a sore throat that went away, then they got sick, and now my throat is sore again. But if that is all I get...GREAT!!!!

DD11 made a stained glass sun for a diorama for a book report to portray a sunrise. She used a trivet I had sitting around. The lighting isn't the best, but you'll get the idea!

Good morning all!!

The horse looks good..Sounds like a good trade if you can house and feed it

Heritage Speckled Sussex are great birds. They do well in colder climates and good layers.

Nice job on the stained glass.

Off to do more chores..have a great day all!
