Well my coop was open while I shoveled the drifts away from the doors and steps, no takers to come out ..........guess they like the snow and wind less than they like being cooped up....

Well saved by our wonderful neighbor Kim, who has a nice little John Deer, 210 tractor, that we have used for various projects around here, I called him and luck would have him home he also drives truck, so he plowed out our humongous drifts and 6 inches of snow.......man that little thing can move alot of snow, bet even ollie would be jealous hehehe...... LOL Adam is on his way home from Amherst, so hope he can make it out here nothing is plowed in the last few hours including our road
Ok got called away started this post at 9 something then Adam rang needed ride home not enough hours letting the truck and trailer in Amherst.....Lol so i just got back roads were god awful on the way but no so bad on the way back got the 4 wheel turned off about 23 miles from home finally........man I love my Jeep but hate the mileage when the 4 wheel drive is engaged.......so later all .Kim..

I just got in from playing on Ollie.. It is still snowing hard, but at least it will not be a foot deep when I clean it all up tomorrow...

we have about 4 tons of snow and ice hanging on the edge of the garage roof, just waiting to fall and kill somebody.. one year it did fall on a chicken and killed it..

if this cold and snow persists, I am going to break down and start wearing long pants..

I made it to Merrill and back this morning.. I took the county roads there,, not a good choice.. I came home by way of sth 39/51 ,, most of it was one good lane, with no slippery spots..

found a dead guinea under the steps in the garage,, IDK what it died from.. maybe the cold ? It was supposed to go into the warmed guinea coop.. Oh, well..

Yep, keep the peeps warm...and those heat lamp bulbs fail on a regular basis. I always hang two lamps and quite often it was good thing I did....just sayin.

Sitting by a pool down by Mall of America watching the girls swim-tomorrow is the JDRF walk at MOA....almost can pretend the snow is gone!
More good news-I am trying to rent out my house again, and have had 5 different ones wanting to apply-none of which I felt good about. Then had 3 guys with decent jobs-very normal.nice come by and just heard they are submitting their applications this weekend! Yeah! ALso working on getting a vacation to Vegas boked to go see my dad and brother soon.Lots of good things happening (after a semi crappy work week)

Vicki: SO with the Kindle HD-you can surf the net etc? Is it slower than an ipad? I have the Kindle 3G but have been thinking about upgrading. I want something that I can access the web (mostly my coop web cams) when away from home.
