Good evening...I have a little sap in the pail JJ...but maybe it is snow that melted on the cover? I know one tap is dripping a very little--the other one not at all. What did I do wrong? It sounds like you and H&R and practically drowning in the stuff! Could it be that my tree is on the North side of the house and not warm enough yet? I think I have to go and read....

Saw MXM today for coffee. We had a really nice visit...and tomorrow I get to visit with BigFam; IF she tells me and ETA that is! Of course her bator is finally stabilized! I must have gotten it pretty wet when cleaning it! Took 2 days!

Popcorn for me for dinner...the fam is at the hockey game so I am not cooking anything. Doc says that my cholesterol level is high? WTH! I was at 180 last year and that was OK...now the max. levels have changed (to 150) and I am at 160 so it's not OK? HMMMM, guess I will be cutting back on my egg and fat intake. Pretty soon I wont be able to eat ANYTHING!

If the sun shines on the top of the tree, then the sap should run up the tree. Otherwise the tree would have no leaves.

taste what you have and see if it tastes at all sweet.

try drilling the tap hole deeper.

I sprung a leak in the power steering line (metal part) so I'm gonna JB weld it as soon as possible. I was lucky it happened only a mile from home. It sprayed enough fluid on the serp belt to cause it to slip. The temp was rising way up just when I made ir home. Darn line only lasted 25 years...LOL!

Glad you stopped by Raim....I'm happy i'm not as busy as you....I like easy does it better.

Nice looking eggs Hurley. My fan for the hovabator came today. Trying to stabilize my temps now. Humidity is low, but trying to gt those temps ok to set eggs this weekend. Here is to hoping. Had a great time chatting with JJ today, such a nice guy.
Otherwise dealing with my in laws ancient dog and six month old nippy puppy. Almost as bad as the kids fighting. Luckily the old one sleeps most of the day. Just tricky trying to carry the sixty lb dog outside when she has to go....her arthritic legs don't do stairs well
