good morning,

Pang, brought me about 4 1/2 doz more eggs to hatch for her.. She was really interested in the bators.." How much they cost ??" I was concerned whether she had a rooster... "Oh yes, I have ummm eight ." that is about 1 rooster for every 2 hens.. and those large eggs she brought last time WERE duck eggs.. I thought so.. I set them with the goose eggs in #1..

Midget turkeys ?? wrong... right: vertically challenged turkeys..

it took only a couple of minutes to pull Ollie out.. I didn't think the snow was that deep back there.

I cannot convince Annie to not spin the wheels at full throttle in 4WD .. she pulled me so fast with Ollie in reverse that the motor was racing..

Have to go to my heart Dr today so he can holler at me for being fat.. and he gets paid for that ?

I have to do some serious dog training,, Puppy killed another chicken,, I hope he likes his new necklace..

I have heard of making a dog wear a dead chicken. is that what you are doing? Does it work?

Hi All,
No internet at home, been that way for over a month.
Nothing much new with me, not working 6 days a week and now my hours suck again. seriously looking this time for a new job.

We had a neighbors dogs kill a bunch of our hens a few years ago and then come back for more a cpl weeks later! Good luck breaking him! My chocolate lab did pick up our Cayuga drake last fall but she just was mistaking him as a moving squeaky toy! Hasn't happened again but they take off every time they see her coming!

Hubbys hunting dog thought the girls wer chew toys. It was a very long summer!!!! I spent the entire time training. I now trust him alone outside with the girls free rang. Im sure I will need to do some refresher coarses when the weather changes (if it ever changes) and the girls are out and about more.

Hes a goodboy now lmk if you need any pointers!

the pup is just 7 months old.. still full of curiosity .. he is smart, so I think he will learn quickly..

lessons begin today..

I used a shock collar to train our dog with the flock. I shocked him everytime he went for a bird. Now he leves them along but will occasionally point them lol. I have heard good things about hanging the dead chicken from the dogs neck if they kill one. Good luck Jim.

I saw this and just had to bring it here!

Punxsutawney Phil, the King of the Groundhogs was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound after predicting an early spring!

It was either that or suffer a slow and very painful death at the hands of some fed-up-with-winter-cheesehead! He chose wisely and saved us the trip to PA!
