I have always kept Guinea Keats with chicks too. They only peck at their toes until you get them on shavings. You could always give them some mealies right away...

Yah, I was scared a little..

... Better now.

. Well right now, in the bator I have EE, Cuckoo Maran, Orpingtons, Golden Comets, Light Sussex (maybe), and Black Australorp, mystery bantam egg, and Wyandotte. 30 eggs in all. My friend is hatching 22 of my "barnyard mix" eggs. His eggs are due two days before mine. Really excited!!!

OMG there are more monsters created here every day !!!! Now ET's buddy is getting hooked on chickens and wants them sooner then later !!!

Do all of you know what kind of obsession you are getting into ?????

In the mean time I'm still try to just catch up on today's posts..... geez quit chatting.... now i know why I was absent !!!

There are two Kettle Moraine State Parks, one by Fondy and one further south by the border.

My relatives like to off-road bike ride through the one that is further south.

Thank you. It doesn't get very close to the border, though.

It is also extremely popular with us other bike riders too.

Judge, just tape a piece of cardboard in your brooder for a makeshift temp. wall. The chicks are way too young & weak to knock it down yet. I just use some from a soda box. I almost thought I was going to have to do that with mine tonight. The 3 that hatched this AM were way too rowdy for the 3 that hatched this evening, but I kept an eye on them til they all fell asleep. By the time they wake up, I'm sure they will be fine.

cs, do you think you could pick them up this weekend? Next weekend might not be good for me.

Del-when is your pulorium class? Saturday or Sunday? Would you be able to go to CC's with me on the opposite day? She isn't available next weekend. Either day is fine for me (saturday is best, but I think you have the class that day) I can do it on Sunday but I'll have to work it around soccer games. Maybe I can get my schedule adjusted for Friday. Can you do Friday? CC-pm me your address. Del and I will try to get there together!
