Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Frenchie... I will mock you mercilessly if you end up with a hook (or two) for hands to go with the peg leg!!!
I have no doubt that you wouldn't !!!!

If I would have to lose anything it should be the other leg, then I can pick my own height !!!

It's tough being this tall with a fake leg !!!!

One family brawl is way too many around here. I wouldn't wish this guilty conscience on anyone, not even Heather.

Honestly.

Maybe we're all just getting a bad case of cabin fever waiting for spring to finally get here!!!!

Visited the ducks this evening and my MIL told me when her mother was a kid, they had a year when they had snow every month of the year. I hope we do NOT have a repeat of that here! I counted out my tomato plants today...... what am I going to do with 52 tomato plants in the house if it never warms up?!!

Good thing I did not start my squashes yet!!!

I started my squash and tomatoes..i fed them to the chickens..I am restarting them now. I doubt I can get in my garden till June

Looks like Ideal Poultry has chicks available for April 24th if anyone is interested.

Hey hey CC !!!! Who's side are you on ?????

Did you start my batch of eggs yet???

Ok, now I forgot what else I was gonna say !! Dang it anyway !!!

I'm going back to Ideal and filling out an order, just for the fun of it. I'm a bit interesed in the California Whites. Anyone ever try them? It would go with my theme of black and white. They are production blacks bred to white leghorns. Lays a white egg.
Might just get a few more ducks. Then of course I'd like a few more dutch bantams to go with my only porcelain dutch rooster. Anyone have any dutch bantams pullets they want to rehome? Just one little girl for my guy would be nice.
Ok, time to call it a night I think. We have to go get hay tomorrow and finish our syrup.
Anyone want a 7 month old male pup? He is doxie/cocker/shitzu/poodle mix. White and brown, long shaggy hair. Liver color nose(long nose) and around eyes. About 20 lbs or so.PM me for more details.

Hi All!

Thanks Bl4!

Elaine... I totally understand. Most of my kids friends were either Goth, Geek, Grunge or all 3! LOL (The Geeky Goths were the most interesting LOL) and many had issues at home and beyond. H3ll, MY kids had issues too! lots of them. But we gave them love and a good tools to deal with them. Like I said, they are far from perfect, but they're allot better than may of their peers. But then, we're chicken people.... none of our kids could be too bad! LOL

Colton.... If I didn't already have 6 roos I would snatch up 1 or 2 of those boys up in a heart beat!

Angie.... My bet is your boy(s) have favorite hens. If your worried get them some aprons.

cuties... Nice digs you got there! Nice stack of scrap wood too!

BBP.... Yes, Wisconsin Wild Ginseng is the most prized and valued in the world! The cultivated comes in a close 2nd. My grand parents used to harvest and sell wild ginseng many years ago. Be aw ear though, it is also very regulated.

My son and one of his friends is going to be harvesting some from his friends, grandmother's property this fall.

FT..... Put some egg white (if you can find any) on that burn and wrap it up in gauze. If you like you can add a touch of honey to it. Apply twice or more a day. It should heal in a few of days. LOL, if you get a hook we can start to call you "captain"!

All I'm going to say about how today went is ....MEN!

Remember, I live with 3 of them!

I think one of the turkey hens wants to go broody.... spent the day on her "nest" with her egg, but went to roost at night.

That's it... Night All!

and then add some powdered sugar and you have Frosting, All you do then is lick it off and repeat until your hand feels better. lol

From a family with a hook, let me just say that they are not as much fun as they seem.
