OK, that's funny, Jim, because the hubs did the same thing today. I wasn't there to see it, though, as I had to run home for some tools. He said he chased him around the yard for a long time and poor Danny didn't know what to do about it. There were a few feathers scattered about but when I asked him how that happened the hubs said, "That's between him and me. I guarantee he won't go after me again." Danny still gives him the stink eye but he doesn't get very close to him now at all.the BR roo made a half hearted attack at me today.. but I stood my ground and tried to grab him by the neck.. then it was me chasing him around the pen a bit .. after that he crowed a lot, but no more attacks.. I am getting only 3 eggs per day from his 4 hens.. I have to add a couple more hens soon, prolly tomorrow.. I want 6 eggs per day from his girls.. so then I can set 18 to 24 eggs per rotation about every 4 days..
