Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

oh, and here's my chick pictures! (couldn't help myself
)

Btw, the cat pictured is the same one who attempted to get the above chick, waking me up at 1am.

these are the two scrappers,, the one on the right is the older female,, Dora,, the left one is Puppy @ 7 months old.. they are not related.. they are Maremma ..

Yesterday I scrapped up a pile of dirt for the base in the new greenhouse,, Now I have to spread it out and level it .. Ollie really enjoyed his workout..

this is the bourbon red tom.. I wan not on the ball or I could have captured the whole turkey hen to his right.. I am not sure what kind of turk hens they are ? can anybody tell from the picture ? I was told they are bourbon reds ?? at any rate, I want to get rid of the trio.. at least one of them is laying an egg just about every day.. or maybe they are taking turns ? IDK

I can't decide if I should work on the greenhouse, or should I clean out the guinea coop.. I just took a shower, I hate to mess it up by cleaning out that stinky coop ..

I have to run my post digger to Mosinee and get the carb rebuilt.. I wonder how much that will cost in American $$$$ ??

My 2 pumpkin heads! The black & white one is Elvira. She is a [very] rare Alapaha Blueblood Bulldog. (best way to describe is think of a Pit Bull body structure and drive with a bulldog face [wrinkles, underbite])

6 wks old:

Being lazy on the couch:

Yes! She was sleeping all swallowed up and snoring!

This is Zoylah, our St. Bernard.
4 weeks old:

10 wks old, the day we brought her home:

She sleeps in the most UN-ladylike positions!

Here she is at 5 1/2 mos old:

Me & Zoylah, 5 1/2 mos old. (please excuse my Sponge Bob
Santa head pajamas)
Cute puppies! We have a St. Bernard/Great Dane mix. They sure do grow fast!

OH! I love them! (But I would hate to have the SB's feed bill or clean up the cow-sized puckie from the yard!!) If they could only stay cute and small!!

Beautiful bird! And love the dogs, Jim!

If you're looking for something to do, this is the place! I'll even help you decide where to start! Got post holes to dig today and half of the raised bed to finish. Oh, and if you like to paint, or hoe, or fix windows, or move dirt, or......

Phsyco, Twizzle, and Jim --LOVE all your pics. :) I love big dogs. DH recently told me he plans to buy a trained duck dog next year :)

Well, good morning everyone. So I was wondering if the experts could help me out. I originally was told ( on another forum) that I had white chantecler chicks. So being curious how I ended up with those I emailed the hatchery. Well after a few emails with pics they hatchery says they are 95% sure I have White Wyandotte chicks maybe possibly White Yokohama chicks . So here is a pic. Are they Wyandotte's ? They are a little smaller than the Barred rock chicks in size.

ETA: They messaged me again and said that since the chicks are smaller than my barred rock chicks they are most likely yokahama. lol

Cute! I just love everyone's pictures! Thanks for sharing them!

Also - I found that bash thread and left some comments. Sounds like a crap-ton o'fun! I'll have to talk to my hubby-bubby and see what we can swing. I won't be able to come Fri-Sun. I'd have to take the day off work on Fri, as I work 2nd shift, and I'm almost out of vacation days and still need to make a dentist appt to get my wisdom teeth yanked. So I'll end up using another vaca day for that. So I'd rather save the rest of it for in case of an emergency or if I get sick and need a day off or something. I could totally come up Sat. late morning or early afternoon and hang the weekend. We'd have to have someone here to watch the dogs and rest of the animals, though. So IDK if it'll be me & hubby and leave kids at home (they're in high school, they can handle themselves), or me & kids and leave hubby home, or just me alone. I do have a HUGE 3-room tent in very good condition if anyone wants to camp but doesn't want to have to run out and buy a tent. I'm willing to share. It can easily sleep 12 or more if you pack it in.
