Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

That car ride is killer! So glad to be home and showered. Now to unpack the car and check on all the critters. It was nice meeting everybody, my kids had a great time. I LOVED the bulldog/dalmation puppy. What a cutie, and of course, the Westie. I didn't bring a camera, so hopefully other people post a lot of pictures.

Home and car unloaded!! Now to put it all away, settle the new chicks and shower!!!!

I just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Bigzio for organizing this and always jumping in to help with everything! Heat wraps for sore backs, food for hungry chicks, flour for Jims pancakes and so on and on!!!)

Terrio: Thank you for helping organize and keep things moving! Loved our chats and wish we lived closer.

Delish: Love my new babies-so sweet. I can't wait until I can get them integrated into the new flock. As soon as we got home took them out back where my flock doesnt go and let them out. It was interesting to see hwo fast they noticed the 2 bald eagles and hawk flyign over....I can tell they were free range chicks (Hen raised too?) so I scrambled around changed shoes and shooed my chickens back into their run quick!

Mel: Again-wish we lived closer-love chatting with you

Jim: THanks for making the whole gang pancakes TWO days in a row!!!

AmberFlea; Sorry wasnt able to get internet connection out there on my tablet, so am jsut getting your msg now...also thanks again for the brooder box-perfect for getting my new girls home.

CC: WIsh we had had more time to chat-love the new ride.

BigFam: LMAO at the roo/Jim comment ;-)

Chickenscratch-was fun meeting you and your family!!!

FT: SO glad I was finnaly able to put a name to a face!!! You live closer to us then the rest of the gang dont you? Hmmm

BBP: So glad you guys came along this time and save the date for next year! ALso we need to get somethign organized for this side of the state. I am going to look into Lake Wapo and see how expensive it would be!! (I have your onion/dish FYI!

Dcba, LMiller, ghostrider, cindylady, raminel, PyshcoPeep, Amyable, Cuties, Julie and anyone else I missed-Great memories made this weekend and hope to see you all next year!!!

Kristi, I forgot to give the eggs to Heather because I am old,, she forgot to take them because ???

I gave your eggs to TerriO, you can contact her and work things out..

I didn't realize how tired I was from all the fun and long hours.. until I fell asleep reading the posts on here..

I must comment on the kids at the bash, and I mean the human kind.. they were all such well behaved kids and a pleasure to be around..

I have a guy coming for a batch of BO's in a few minutes.. better go and find a net..

sorry to all the people who ate the pancake sinkers on Sat.. I figured out why they were not light and fluffy by Sunday though, and t hose were much better..

thanks for bailing me out with the flour .. I didn't expect so many people to be at the bash..
Next year I will bring a 25 pound bag of flour , like Annie suggested this year.. she is always right.

I am going to start thinking of a white elephant offering for next year.. starting today..

we never thought to count all the people at the bash.. It would be great if each of you in your next post would just mention it..
say it like:

Jim ...
Bigzio spouse 1, children 1
Robin spouse 1

at the beginning of your post..

I will keep a running count and come up with the total ..

.......willbebacklater.................

Me, spouse, 2 kids = 4

Judi, maybe I can come one evening this week and get my container and return your heat pack. Delisha, the babies made it home ok. Thanks to both of you. And whoever brought the pizza cutter, thanks, it is really neat. Next year I'll be sure to divide plants early, I'll bring orpingtons (maybe even chocolate) and I will try to have something really cool custom made. And I will be in the truck, not packed like sardines in the car. I did look it up, the snake I caught was a hog nose. I had never seen one before. Pretty cool little thing.
