When you use acv, do you need to cover it? Not a towel, but air tight?

cuties: They recommend not covering airtight when using ACV. Just be carefult o not use to much ACV as to much alcohol can cause liver damage ;-)

If using LAB you can add a small amount of ACV to balance pH.

Rainy Afternoon All...we really lucked on the weather for the bash. I'ts been raining non-stop here since Sunday. We have a big kettle of chili going on the stove in this damp chilly weather.

Sorry about your kitty Doc. It's good to hear the water problem is solved with the neighbor. Who needs neighbors like that, eh!

The lawn is tall enough to bale now, and the unplanted garden is drenched. Kina lazy weather when I'd rather be working for a change.

Good idea. That thing is skinny enough to fit between the counter and the wall. If camp ever gets a kitchen revamp, wouldn't it be funny to find it back there?

Well JJ..ya know that gorgeous colored olive egger you donated eggs for and my daughter is in love with...it is growing some lovely saddle feathers...sigh... Was hoping for a beautiful olive egger. Tell not sure on that Rock from deli....

Well today was my last day of employment...trained in my replacement the past three days. I will miss that place...lets see what adventures we can have this summer!

I have used Naturewise. If I might make a suggestion..take a 2 cup of the dry feed crumbles and add water to it. Make it like runny oatmeal consistency. Feed about 1/2 cup a day and keep the leftover on the counter. Just add feed and enough water to keep the grains covered. Wet feed is great for new chicks. Feed that to the chicks and mom. I do make my own electrolites or they have dry packages you just add to a gallon of water. Great for chicks, and many use it.

Such a great support group. Do you add ACV to the wet feed, and when you leave the remainder on the counter cover with towel or tight lid? What do you use when making your own electrolytes, and is this just for the babies? Gee ... Can you tell I'm a new mom to be???
