Went to reboot my computer last night to try to get rid of the constant double posting (since nothing else I tried seemed to work) and wound up losing the internet until this evening.

Now I'm 6 pages behind. And on top of all that, it didn't work anyway..............

Yes CC.... My long lost sister for sure! Duncan is even my password on tons of stuff!!! I had to go to Dunvegan Castle on the Isle of Skye in Scotland, since its the MacLeod family seat.

(yes I know Duncan is pretend, but him and his sword can make a girl forget....)

I agree Sandi, the dogs were all extremely well behaved at the bash. I find it hard to believe that Kasha is always looking for a bed, though. It seemed like every time DH or I saw her, she was constantly walking around. Those poor little legs never seemed to stop. I could picture her on a big hamster wheel.

She sure is cute! And thank you for posting the electrolyte recipe, Del. So sorry to hear about your chicks.

Ticked me off. The only good thing was that DH sold 13 dozen eggs this week and has to take 2 more in tomorrow. It was supposed to be 5 for tomorrow but my girls just can't keep up. Guess I need more layers? Whistle, whistle.

Good thing I've got 4 chicks in the brooder & 2 eggs pipped.

So far 2 chocolates, a black & a lav. Still waiting on 2 more chocs & a gold laced.

This time of year you can get away with putting it outside. It is a bit chilly, but, not bad. It does best around 70-80. It does not like it above 100 (bacteria grows too fast) or below 50. (too slow). I bring it in the house when the garage or coop gets over 90 or below 30. Usually it is only in the house January to May. My DH hates it too. The smell bothers him and it is an item that is not his. He does allow it if i remove it so he can't see it when he is home. He is so sweet.

Hi all just wanted to check in and see how you were. Nothing new here. I have two bro ody hens and the very"active" young roos. They are absolutely terrorizing my ametaucana. They take turns one right after
the other. Its kind of disturbing really. I think I will send her to freezer camp with them
when the time is right.
My town has their festival this weekend so I got a babysitter and rummaged all day with my sisters. Tomorrow is the last day of school and then the Electric Parade. It is at nine at night. They turn off the street lights and all the floats are decorated with christmas lights. Normally the kids stay over at my parents chand then we head back up town to the band and beer tent. Not this year though.
Last year I got so "sick" I threw up at
five the following afternoon yet!! Such a lightweight. God night everyone

I soaked some bits of food for her and left some millet close by - it seems like she ate just a bit of it but nothing today.

mission accomplished.. put ALL the new hatchlings out into the brooder in the guinea pen.. all 42 of them.. turkeys, guineas and barocks.. have a few more new ones that will go out tomorrow..

we quit collection barock eggs today.. I told Annie as soon as the first ones set started to hatch, it would be enough..

went to sell two RP hen turkeys today.. couldn't find even one.. IDK where they went >>/? dead? run away ? nesting ? but all 5 of them ? I think predator.. funny we did not notice them missing..

set 33 eggs for Marlene today.. I am officially filled up in the bators.. but, tomorrow I will have space for one more tray once the barocks are done hatching..

Zeke, if those eggs of CC's are like she is, they will smack the barock eggs smartly..

battery chickens.. gotta love this new technology..

chickens are such creatures of habit.. I took the electric brooder off the floor and put it into the brooder pen.. now all the BO chicks are laying on the floor where the brooder was..

Hundreds of acres behind us.... he has to cross the road.

Good news is I got all the plants I want for the garden! We should have 2 dry days to get it in too.

Good Morning! Not raining! TO been just over 3 yrs but sure doesn't seem like it been way too busy! That has to stop! FT yes the not so lil darlins are a hoot. But sometimes.......... Bigz not expecting much in the way of catchin but we'll be fishin! Cind so so sorry about Moses!

Congrats on all the hatches and sorry for the losses! CC don't know what's the H is going on think it's the site. Mine dble posted yesterday and I haven't been getting anything in my incoming E mail but it was going into my deleted and if I opened it in there the puter would freeze up. I've been having to go to the main site to get on. This morning I had to re-login to get here. It's really whizin me off! To quote my old supervisor " somethings wrong with something". Am real close to saying to H with it! OK settle down Beeker. Am so excited to be heading Nort! Normally we go up in April and at least once in May. Today is our first time.

Really hope fishin time gets tacked on at the end and when it comes it will be as pain free as possible. They have drugs for that too!

Have to go and pack in a leisurely fashion.
