Jvls1942- best I'm getting dry is; 95-100 deg. With 28-31% humidity. I installed a fan yesterday which give me the 5 deg variable instead of sometimes 15 deg. This is all new to me so any more help is greatly appreciated.

seems like your thermostat is not sensitive enough.. a good wafer or digital one made for incubators will hold it within 1 degree.. or less..

I know it is an expense,, about $20 for the wafer and micro switch, but after you buy 2 or 3 of the cheaper ones and find out that they are not satisfactory, it becomes a wash..

wire the fan to run continuously.. do not go through the thermostat to the fan..

Jim... It's kinda sexy when you talk thermostats and fans.

Hey, do you have any goose knowledge to impart to me to keep George happy and healthy? I wanted to coop him with the chickens and ducks. Any treats that geese like in particular? At what point can I tell male or female?

Please help Knowledge Fairy thank you :D

To's daughter had the most beautiful smile. Because she seemed so fullfilled up there. This is how I imagine sydney feeling someday.
This sight almost brought a tear to my eye.

Wow! First on. Everyone must be worn out from all the migrant labor at TO,s!

Thanks for answering my questions Delisha. I know about being able to use starter/grower for everybody and would like to but I have 60+ lbs left of Nutrena nature wise layer pellets yet and would like to use that first. BTW no roos here. Would love one but hubby says no. Says it will hurt our puppy but really I think he's afraid I'll get the bright idea to start breeding my own birds. Silly hubby. (Guess he does know me!)

My chicks are 12 weeks now. Any harm if they get into the big girls FF?
Not at all..They are old enough

I love watching her also. She looks like she is connected to the horse and they canter as one.
