I hope you saved some of the scraps from your cedar tree to burn. It is so cool to burn cedar and watch the flames change colors....

Did 4 miles on the bike tonight..... I think I could have done 6 but I want to go slowly and ease myself into this. Should get up tomorrow and run...... we will see.

I have to give a big shout out to the DH, our washing machine was having issues, and once again he saved the day and fixed it!

I dread replacing it since the new ones are SO freakin expensive! I know this one is not going to last forever, it is around 18 years old now so a replacement is in our future.

So since I biked my 4 miles, I deserve ice cream.

We saved all of the wood actually! I've never heard of cedar burning in different colors. Does it occur when it is green, dry, or both?

FYI-I made walnut milk tonight. It is really good and the same recipe can be used for all nuts. It only contains 1c. soaked & drained nuts, 1 T. honey, 1 tsp. vanilla extract, and 3c. water (I used brown sugar because somehow we are out of honey).

Yes... Soon. Riga is a bit of a wild girl. There are still separated from te main flock. I don't think 24 hrs is long enough. So food and water and ff is avail to her and the chicks round the clock.

Yes, some peeple haven't posted for a while. Some I miss, others well, I'm have a nice rest from skipping posts!

Hi All!

CS... Nope, didn't mean you.... don't even know how you got that from anything I wrote about tourist.

I, many friends and kids have worked in Lake Geneva during "tourist season". They can be a real snooty lot at times. Many of them are the Chicago Rich and old families. Not quite as bad as it was years ago I think, but can be annoying.

OK, now I forgot what else I was going to say.... grrrr CRS!

Well, I might not have much to say in my boring life... but I check in! LOL Oh, my daughter came today to clean out the last of the asparegras, wish she would ave pulled some weeds while she was there!

good eve, we sat outside until a few minutes ago, then the skittoes took over and chased us inside..

DD#1 came out and we got half the purlins up.. then Bro Dave showed up and we took a break and never got back to the roof.. Oh well, there is always tomorrow..

I got the new tiny tiller to run,, but only if I poured gas directlyinto the carb.. so we took the gas tank off and found that the fuel line was plugged and the rock filter inside the tank was plugged..
So tomorrow, I will go purchase a new filter and fuel line..

other than that, nothing new here..
