Good morning! I was just going to tell JJ that BigFam! It is very cool. Did I read somewhere that it used to be an owl? That might have been a book I read too...LOL!
My client's wife just called and wants me to come earlier for work...just poured a cuppa!
I thought for sure I would have time to drink it. Oh well--I guess I will leave in ten mins or so. I got up early today and the chickens were very surprised I was letting them out so early! Tommy and Little T didnt even come down from their roost. They looked like newlyweds sitting up there next to each other--so cute! I just put them together the other day after I put Tommy in with the babies as a babysitter since their Mom wanted NOTHING to do with them after I put them in a bigger run. In fact, she was attacking them! I think she wanted to make another batch...she is gone again!
Cind--I think that is where your turkey hen is too! Didnt you have one that was sitting under your window or something?I bet she has a clutch somewhere. Speaking of...I heard frantic peeping last night and found a little chick wandering...yeah, it's a newly hatched TURKEY! Now where did THAT come from? The only thing I can think of is that the one guinea I have that is sitting hatched it? I didnt think any of her eggs would hatch...now I am thinking about popping the rest under a hen or duck!
Hey Cuties...neither one of those birds is an Andalusian! I am assuming that Blueberry is the rumpless one? Andies have a big tail and a flop over comb. They are kinda like a leghorn in body...Mediterranean class=flighty in my book. My male is quite large...you should have a couple in that batch of babies. THey were the white eggs...if you dont mind their personality that might be a good choice for you. Cheryl has some that her DD has been working on to improve the lacing.
OK--I better head out to work. Later all! TerriOsuddenlyhungry
