Jim, I will get and post pics as soon as I can
I have to agree with bigz. Majestic is the very best way to describe light brahma. The two I had were amazing. I miss them dearly. Part of the risk of free ranging. But I still feel they had the very best life. One never went broody. One was very broody. So im not much help there. We got 2 chicks this spring to try to replace them. I knew it was a bad idea right away. They first tried to give us one with a missing eye. I should have said no thanks to any. But wanted them so much. And have been looking without finding. They were not very healthy. One had crooked feet. The other, you could just tell was weak. They both died :'(
I love the breed. They are the most docile with the children. It was so amazing to see little b lug around those ginormous birds.
Bigfam, I just got done eating amazing strawberries at my neices and nephews bday party!!
Now is time to crack the first cold one!! Enjoy your evening.
