TO..

The oblong eggs never hatched. Both had a blood vein. Two blue eggs did not hatch. For taking them out of a big huge basket of eggs on the counter, the hatch went pretty good. The two cuckoo eggs hatch(unusual colored chicks)The two round eggs we took from the front pen hatched, (one was light and one red) and two of the blue eggs hatched. One blue and one black.

CC I have one blood ring, one infertile and one hatch. I have one still in that looks like a slow developer or infertile/early death. I can't tell. I can see threw the egg in many places so I am thinking infertile or early death.

I have a few lavender AM eggs cooking with some BCM and those d'uccle eggs. You can see really well into the d'uccles and they are developing well. I will be selling the d'uccles after they hatch.

Evening all (morning to Terri and Frenchy, hehehe)
So sorry for all the troubles some of you are having :hugs
Nothing new here. No heat losses, the fans are holding up and I dunked the puppy in cold water and now she s running after the kitty to play.

My poor herb garden looks like a jungle but not much I can do till the weather breaks. Hope. it rains soon. Think l am giving up on the peppers in the greenhouse. I just can't stay ahead of the aphids and I can only handle so much of the poison. Shame because they are good sized plants.

Called my farmer I get pickle cukes from. Thank the Lord she has been set back three weeks by the weather early in the year so I won't have to start making pickles till the weather cools :thumbsup

Going to get another popsicle and watch deadliest catch now

Bbl.

Deli, I still have a bunch of CC eggs to hatch. Don't know what's going on. I had one hatch today. Sugar hatched it, and Miss Mama swooped in and took that baby too. So I separated those too and gave Sugar her baby. I've got probably 6 eggs waiting to hatch at least.

Now I have a chocolate orpington chick that appears to have prolapse. Does it ever end? Oh, and did I mention that I went to put on a pair of jeans this morning and they were wet . . . And smelled of cat urine? Put a different pair on, noticed I stunk. They had pee on the bottom portion of the leg. If I ever get caught up on bills I will take her in and have her tested again to see if there's a medical reason. If not, it will be a one way trip.

I cannot stand cat pee. I have no tolerance for it. And .i love cats!!! Love love love my Maine Coons. But I growing up my mother always had a cat that would mark. I know all the tricks and products in the book to deal with it. But it still seems like it happens.

My MIL, who is a pharmacist by trade and therefore a smart lady, let her cat spray for years. I say let because she always used soap and water to clean it up. Or may be carpet stain spray. But she never used cat descender. No matter how many times I explained it to her. Why it needed to be used. So the cat was eventually put down. After like 10 years of marking!

Since I cannot tolerate any cat pee but love my cats, Feliway has been a blessing. It really calms the cat with pheromones in the area where they are stressing and peeing. I'm sure you've don't a million things to fix this, but get a couple Feliways and put them in your bedroom after a full cat descenter wash down of all stuff and or clothes.

I must be super tired to miss out on a pussy shaving comment. I'm almost more embarrassed for missing the chance to say it, than actually saying it!!!

IDK how many times someone has to get pee'd on before you get rid of a cat.. in my case it was one time..

males will pee to mark their territory.. IDK why females do it.. just nasty, I suppose..

I fired up the stump for a while t tonight.. it is about half gone.. this was a better session than the last two.. I brought up a small load of very dry oak scraps.. got the stump hot enough to support it's own coals.. that's when progress is really made..

I learned something tonight.. dogs run through the grass and then come by you and dump a thousand skeeters on you.. then they leave to get some more..

hey Unka Dan, you must have a good wild goose recipe, doncha ? Your Dad being a guide and all.. You should post it here for all to see..

I will sit back now and wait for more posts ..
