Had a strong beverage so maybe I can sleep now!

When I had the pet store I made sure people had full instructions on the care of the animal, even if they said they had one before. I learned you can't assume anyone has common sense anymore.

Woot first pip FINALLY and coincidentally its egg #1. Now if they'd go in order it would be right on track. Worst part is I have an appt. In town at 9:45 right when their all gonna hatch, maybe have my daughter video the little miracles.

Sclark73, pretty sure my rooster is the one causing the cross break. I have a mixed chick here that was out of him and my barnevelder hen and he has it too I forgot to ask you yesterday, if both of my Black orps are boys, would you be interested in one? Since you lost yours?

Good morning...quiet one here again. Got everyone let out and partially fed. I missed the deadline on Friday for ordering feed for the weekend so I dont have any left for this morning. I sure wish I had the facilities to store large amounts, then I would order it delivered (in fantastically great quantities!) I would feel rich but really be poor...kind of how I feel when I have a loft full of hay!

I just heard mine screaming and went out to see what was up. Whatever scared her might have gotten one of hers...they were all hiding way under the grass and she actually called them all out and waited for them. I could still hear one so I pushed it out of it's hiding spot and she heard it and ran over to collect him! This is the very first one that has kept track of her babies! (I still only let her keep 6 instead of 20!) Come to think of it, that's probably why they hatch so many...
Judge... WOW that's a pretty peck of Peas! Sorry to hear about your neighbor.
DITTO--I could not imagine shelling all those peas...or do they have a machine?

TO.... Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! I may mess up now and then, but I always got A's in grammar, I even tutored a bit. Can't spell worth Sh!t, but I know my words and where they go. LOL I think the error here that bugs me the most is "then" instead of "than".
Some people use then rather than than. But then, it's not as bad as mixing up some other words on the list. Lesson over.

Now THAT gave me a headache!

I think I have noticed that a few times...probably in a news article though! Aren't there copy editors any longer? I always wonder...one time I was taking a client to a building and they had a sign for "clearence" under the arch by the door. Yes it was a professionally done plastic one! I couldnt stand it so I HAD to tell the receptionist...she must have told someone cause it was redone by the time we had to go back. Cripes!
The only thing that really bothers me is seen and saw. That is usually in speech though...
I just thought it was cool to see it posted in black and white! Especially when folks complain about other nationalities not speaking English in this country...read one of those rants. OK--I will stop now!

holy hats,, I am the only one on here.. even Cind went to bed.. I did too, but I couldn't sleep..
just had a small glass of Sangria,, might have to have another..

Had I only known...I woke up at 3 and was awake until 5...thought about coming down too. We could have had a glass of wine "together!"

Annie sold 2 baby cockatiels to a young guy,, both birds died.. today she found out why,, he left them outside overnight with no heat.. Ya think ? he wanted to buy others, but she is reluctant to sell him any more.. dip shet !!
So, he let them outside now or for the winter? My house birds always went outside for the summer, under a covered porch though. They werent babies though...more info please...at any rate that makes me sick! If you are going to get an animal PLEASE research it's needs before obtaining said animal! (preaching to the choir here I am sure)

I think that accident was reported on the news tonight,, no details,, so why even mention it ??
In fact I don't know for sure they were talking about that accident..

I dont think eggs follow that close of schedules when hatching....but please have your daughter take notes...that would be interesting for sure!

Speaking of roosters, I am waiting on delivery of another one from Chicago. My name is on some list somewhere (I think the title of it is "SUCKER LIST") SHe has had him in her apartment...found the bird in the alley and wants him "to live out his life on a farm." OK--he can come here...says he is really tame and follows her around. I am anxious to see what kind he is. SHe says he is gold with all the right red stuff on his head and under his neck! Yup--knows her chickens!

JJ I will give your best to Peggy! Funny Guy! How are your birds? I only read smart ***** comments from you now...

Birds are alarming again...sheesh--hawks must be hungry today...
