I just heard mine screaming and went out to see what was up. Whatever scared her might have gotten one of hers...they were all hiding way under the grass and she actually called them all out and waited for them. I could still hear one so I pushed it out of it's hiding spot and she heard it and ran over to collect him! This is the very first one that has kept track of her babies! (I still only let her keep 6 instead of 20!) Come to think of it, that's probably why they hatch so many...

DITTO--I could not imagine shelling all those peas...or do they have a machine?

TO.... Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! I may mess up now and then, but I always got A's in grammar, I even tutored a bit. Can't spell worth Sh!t, but I know my words and where they go. LOL I think the error here that bugs me the most is "then" instead of "than".
Some people use
then rather
than than. But
then, it's not as bad as mixing up some other words on the list. Lesson over.
Now THAT gave me a headache! I think I have noticed that a few times...probably in a news article though! Aren't there copy editors any longer? I always wonder...one time I was taking a client to a building and they had a sign for "clearence" under the arch by the door. Yes it was a professionally done plastic one! I couldnt stand it so I HAD to tell the receptionist...she must have told someone cause it was redone by the time we had to go back. Cripes!
The only thing that really bothers me is seen and saw. That is usually in speech though...
I just thought it was cool to see it posted in black and white! Especially when folks complain about other nationalities not speaking English in this country...read one of those rants. OK--I will stop now!
