My dad said it was too expensive for us to buy specific breeds, so we got the rare egg layer assortment. Yes, all pullets. I don't like the straight run, 60/40 or 70/30. Too many roos.

They should arrive in a week.

I haven't posted on here in a while :O i've been lurking mostly. I'm going to edit this in a few and post some new pictures of my flock. But for now, anyone think they'd be interested in a HUGE phoenix mix rooster? I would think he's best fit in the crockpot, since he has gotten very people aggressive. I'm willing to give him away, I'd butcher him myself but I've never done it and i'm not sure if I can do it.

I took my Blazer in to the fixit shop yesterday..  gas lline leak.. Dick called me just now..gas line leak,   brake line leak and only firing on 5 out of 6 cylinders..  can't get the distributor cap off.. might break a bolt.  then would have to replace the whole distributor..
Can you say lots of $$$$ boys and girls ??

sometime today I will take Marlene her keets..  she still hasn't sold any from the last batch .
It looks like both of us will be over wintering lots of guineas..  she will have 32 as of today.. IDK how many I have,,  40 or 50 ??

Just had this happen to me a few weeks ago changing the cap on my daughters s10 and you can just drill & tap the hole, no need to spend that much extra on a new distributor unless you really want to.

I've been in bed since Sunday with food poisoning other than my many trips to the bathroom and my visit to urgent care yesterday. Finally thru the worst of it but am still not able to stand up very long without getting severely nauseated. I do not recommend eating Carney food! The one that got me had been even on WEAU tv13 and had it advertised on their trailer. Psh never again!

Im still waiting on the 2 broodies to hatch their chicks by the end of the week. Incubators are shut down for the year. Thankful my daughter and son helped with all the hatchings while I was down.

had food poisoning when I was a kid.. I can still remember how I felt..

the only reason we go to the fair is to pig out on elephant ears, cream puffs , and ice cream..
I missed the free Merrill fair, and the Wausau one is $25.oo for a season ticket.. I usually borrow a ticket from one of my daughters for the one time I would go.. I am not even sure they bought a pass this year..
