No ducks myself, just some very spoiled chickens. However, there are lots of duck folks on here. Sure they will be waddling in here in a bit

Bigzio, yes it was the place in Waupaca, Sonday Produce. It's 2.75 per bird then you pick the packaging which is an additional cost.

Wow, how nice to give the RV to the young military family!!

Sorry about all the work problems. People can be so very nasty. You have to wonder how they sleep at night.

I am in northern Wisconsin not too far (as we figure things up here) from Rhinelander, but there are tons of folks on here that are from the Madison/Milwaukee area

i would love to find some cheeseheads on here with anconas i need some females and cant find any around here!

The deer are back to busting through the fence again. It's been one, maybe two for the past few nights but yesterday there were footprints galore, three sections of fence totally torn down and quite a few piles of deer puckie. Now that they've figured out that they can break through the fence they're throwing parties! They decimated the garden overnight! All I have left are peppers, a few eggplant, onions, cauliflower (they are all the leaves from around the crown) and some winter squash. They even munched through the thick skin of the acorn squash! I covered what's left with pieces of wire fencing. Next year will be a different story - it will be like Fort Knox!!

I am hoping to expand to some meat birds next spring but nowhere near the quantity that you did Amy... How old were they and what was their average weight?
Maybe I can talk my neighbor into sharing some.
Well the flooring people left today and hoping to put furniture back in place Sunday.Tired of eating out and making my way through n arrow pathways in my family room, looks like an episode of hoarders.
Funny how deer know exactly when things are ripe and how to get there before we do.

I have no chickens yet but am getting 2 buff opingtons and 2 light brahmas in the spring! A little worried about wintering them, but otherwise I am excited!
