Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

How does Saturday, Nov 9th sound for a get together?
Sounds good to me if Terri is available.

Hey all

Yep still alive. busy busy. Need a favor. I'm going to im going to finally make some applesauce and I would like to also make some apple pie filling (can) and use the peels or apple cider vinegar. Can you all share your wonderful recipes for all of them again. It's been a few months that they were on here and my puter is so so so slow, thus the reason or not being on.

If you wan to pm or email them to me that would be great.

Oh and btw my little niece Addie has a new baby sister born Nov 17th Maryn Autumn 8lbs 9ox 21 inches !!!
glad to see you around..you are missed.

ACV

make your pie and keep all of your cores and peelings

stuff a glass jar full of your apple left overs
you need the ring for the jar but not the lid..you need cheese cloth to cover it..air flow is important to make it.
Boil 2 cups water and 1/4 cup sugar and cover the apples. Let it sit on the counter, stir daily for two weeks. It should start to smell like alcohol.
Strain out the solids and get as much pulp you can by pressing it against a strainer..feed the solids to the chickens and keep all the liquid..including the pulp.
wash out your jar and put your liquid back in. replace your cheese cloth and set in a dark cupboard for 4 weeks, or until it is the strength you like. stir it daily. (I never do but the recipe said to do it)

I was hoping to get eggs so I could have them from chicks, but thank u any ways

If you get the live ones..you can hatch out as many chicks as you want..when you want..and eat the eggs you don't hatch.

yes, please come and pick me up..we should swing by CC and pick her up too..let all cook something and bring something for Terri..xtra roos I heard someone say...if we make this early enough we can pick some pears too
Hey, this sounds like awesome fun. One slight problem, though. There ain't no way I'm getting in Terri's house. And it has nothing to do with the dead rodent, I swear.

Honestly., she's such a baby. Take her skinny @ss out of the chair. Then lay her on a horse blanket, and drag her up Terri's porch stairs. It'll be a bit bumpy, but it just gives her a legit reason to drink. Soothe the bumps and bruises. Someone can carry the chair up seperate. (I really don't understand why CC has to be such a party pooper and not come up with these creative solutions. Worried about the chair in mudd? We just drag the horse blanket across the yard. It's called a blanket ride in Haldens therapy... :D )

Denimandlace, what happened to that homework? ;-)
I just have to write up two math lesson plans for Monday and a worksheet. It doesn't sound like much, but the first lesson plan is on teaching Kindergartner's how to model base four numbers with blocks. The second lesson plan is on teaching 2nd graders how to add and subtract using base four. The worksheet of course is multiplying and dividing in base four.

Well, Neil is home! They came to deliver the bed while I was gone picking him up. I called and they came back and set it up. It's smaller than I thought it would be, but that works better because we could put it where his old bed was.

Here's the new roo.....

Of course he would stand all straight and pretty until I hit the button!

Night All!
