Jj, so sorry about the dog. Dozer snatxhed a turkey last week. I am surprised scott did not shoot him. I only let him out unattended at night when the birds are away. For some reason the turkey wasn't in. Only the turkeys ever try that.

That lil girl is so darn cute..I knew she would love her..she is so sweet. Loves to be held. The male still needs some nail trimming, but they are pretty good now. All nice and straight.

Sounds like you all had a great time at TerriOs. Sad that I had to miss it because of my trip . I make homade booze as well. I have some hard cider still brewing from my trees. It's going to be yummy!

Just John, I thought hard about that Turkey, but decided I don't have a good way to transport him. I have a rooster with an appointment on Tues and thought I could get both done. What kind is he and how old?

Grrr, didn't sleep well and wound up getting up too late to get much done outside. I like light late, but TO is right, nice to have chores done by 7 or earlier.

Jon called today! He's still loving his job and he had a chance to hike in the mountains this week, said it was very profound. It put allot of things in perspective for him. He also found a girl that pretty much swept him off his feet, but she just broke up with someone so isn't ready for a relationship yet. Poor kid. He said he's on her best friend list.... maybe in time. They were suppose to do a show in Chicago in mid Dec. but I guess they just found out they can get into this Victorian Christmas Village thing in Colorado that the company has been trying to get into for 5 years. They want to send their best "A" team and that's Jon, his boss and one of the sales girls they work with.
He also said they need more quill pens for this coming weekend!!! He said he forgot to tell me last week. :/ So, this is my break from working on them!!

Sclark, what color are your bantam cochins? I'm looking for blue and splash. Maybe a brown red.
There's a bantam salmon faverolles rooster in Boyd that I'd like to have. Trying to figure out how to make it a shorter drive.

These are all hens as my Partridge Cochin roo got his head stuck in the door a few days ago and hung himself.
1-Black
1-White
1-Blue or Lavender I believe I was told if the feather end was dark it was a blue, maybe you can confirm.
1-Partridge
1-Partridge Frizzle Pullet
also a few younger ones that are my Partridge Cochin Bantam crossed with the above hens.
