Good morning!
It was sooo hard to come to work today! I had an egg that I knew was going to hatch anytime. Scott called when I wasn't even to work yet. It was out. And another pipped! It is hard to miss. Hope their still at it this evening!
We went to my cousins bball game last night. Didn't get home till after 9. The kids were tired this morning for sure!

Took oldest DS to the dentist this morning, and had to reschedule. They just diagnosed one of the dentists kids with cancer.

Liking the snow, hating the road conditions. I hope they are good tomorrow, I have to take the oldest in for her final pediatric neurology appt. in Green Bay.

Trying to buck a cold at the moment...... and hoping the rescue takes this dog sooner than later.

BL4...that is awesome. I am getting the itch for baby chicks or animals in the house... hubby hates the idea...I grew up with a houseful of cool pets and my daughter has those genes too! She loves animals.

Almost have all the christmas shopping done. Friday is my day to see what I can do. Three weeks from today is christmas already.
Need some christmas cookie ideas besides cutouts. And chex mix. Will start my diet after the new year..too many yummy things for the holidays.

I am supposed to havbe all this free time according to my hubby since I dont work most mondays and fridays, but kids have either been home or I am doing stuf like xmas shopping or cooking for someone or who knows what. This friday I have a haircut, lunch with some old friends, then some returns and purchases, all before 3 when I pick the kids up. Next Monday is early release so only a few hours in the morning to get stuff done without kids around. I love christmas, but it frazzles me.

Anyway...I am bonkers now so back to work. Need to pay for all the stuff that hubby and kids want for xmas. hehe. Merry Hump day everyone!

Congrats on the new babies Cuties! Is that a greenish egg I spy? It is not from my OE's is it? Better not be as mine are not laying as yet! Nearly all the chicks I left loose that hatched after the middle of October have perishsed. It is just too cold for those Moms! I always think they will learn...they do this every year! But I guess they ARE chickens right? Even the group I put into a cage has lost a few...but she had 10. The others have 4 to 6 and are now down to 2 each. That is still 6 crossbred chicks that I didnt need! At least that group is mostly wild...I dont feed or water them and they sleep up in the hay loft (I think). They are very prolific and great layers...maybe they are getting close to the wild chickens that live in the jungles? They seem to lay all year round!

SO foggy today! It has gotten worse throughout the day too. This morning at 8:30 it wasnt that bad but coming home this afternoon was hazardous! I only wish that the darn rain would stop already! I have stuff I need to do outside and I hate when my glasses get all wet and I cant see!

OK--now I need to do something about this house. We have to bring the Christmas decos up tonight--the kids have a tree and I want to give them the ornaments that they have received over the years. Hey you guys with little kids...a good thing to do is to give each kid an ornament every year (put the date on if possible) that marks their achievements/hobbies for that year and then give them to them for their first Christmas tree! My Mom did it for me and it was nice to have some old favorites to start with. I actually still have a few of them! My DD27 was asking the best place to purchase some because her tree is pretty "naked." She is coming for dinner and to pick up hers and DS24's tonight. So they will have 50 ornaments at least!

Just called the neighbor to tell him that his cat is STILL in my barn! I guess he likes it here!
