Good evening everyone.
Spent yesterday driving to upper michigan. Step dad had a heart attack while driving truck. Doing ok. Mom had a bunch of seizures while staying there with him. Doing ok. They were released today. I drove them home. I am pooped. Got some awesome new rabbit pens. ♡hubby♡ drove to get them all alone.
A lot of driving.

Ugh more cold coming? Glad I am home bound for the next week. (Mon-pd holiday, Tu/Wed working from home, Thur/Fri took vacation days). Mike is heading off to Clonmel Ireland for the next 6 days for work-sux Im not going!!!

Peekachu update: He was actually off the roost today walking around, eating, etc!!! Happy dance. If you asked me last weekend, I didnt think he would make it through the night. He couldnt stand, was laying down, etc. He is really really skinny but eating up a storm!!!! Happy momma here.

Yup, I'm tired of winter too! I don't do well in cold. (But then, I don't do well in heat either.)

Sure must have been a good day for soup..... I made bean w/ham soup!

good morning,, here is the latest batch of parakeet babies.. there are 4 of them in the basket, but the tiniest one is hard to see..
Yes. that one is pure yellow..

they are going onto Craig's List today..

I am just about finished with my cuppa and will soon be heading out to widen the driveway and scrape whatever snow that catches my eye..

here is something for us to think about.. melt down..

I think the Mississippi river will run well over the banks this year.. especially if we get rain with the melting snow..

and don't forget the mud season we will be having..

We are at an all day wrestling tournament in Middleton today. Here is to hoping Andrew does well. He needs a good boost.

Chickens are laying well, but thinking it is due to the heat lamp on during the night... Figure one more week to spoil them with the below zero temps and then back to just extra hours in am and pm.
