Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Good job Cuties!! I trust ya and hope someday to maybe acquire a bun from you too! I do the impulse thing too, but try to restrain with too much craziness...hubby would disagree.
I would love one of every animal in our home.

Glad you feel the same way with the orps... no sign of wattles but they have those dark combs there.
Yes 1876...I think it is a pair and I am happy. I talked to the chantecler breeder and she feels I have a boy with that pink of a comb...such a sweet bird. I can only do one full sized rooster right now and have the BCM...which could give me olive eggers and BCM( I will have two hens then)

One question for you guys...is this molting season or would it be something else? My other BCM has lost her feathers around her neck and comb is not bright. I looked and dont see any bugs...any thoughts?

Quote: Today we started seeds for the veggie garden. I found I need to go and get Tomatoes and Butternut Squash and a few other things we want to grow this year. I also have the hatching eggs that the kids are helping me care for. Then all the chicks and ducklings and rabbits. Not the traditional sit and learn to add and read but it works for us.

Kris they can molt just about anytime. The hard molts at the wrong time of year concerns me most. They make it through, but look awful chilly without their feathers. I make sure they are in a draft free environment..

Congrats Jim! If you pm chickenscratch more pics, that pup will have a home ;-) Cs, my sis has a gp. He is a sweet dog. Bit aloof. Was not raised in the barn. So he spends his time sorta doing his job. I like him. But after meeting Jims dogs, I say go with Maremma. If raised to do their job, I feel they would be better at it. Idk anything about the Anatolian Shepherds. Probably used for gaurd and herding just judging the name. Are you in the market for a lgd?
