Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

So sad Frenchie!!!

Jim I got a little teared up hearing about Brian's rescue pup.

Seriously folks... 2 posts bringing me to tears... I don't like that part so much!
you gotta admit, mine had a happier ending..

sorry about your chocolate donkey Sandi..

I I added 13 chicken eggs to the bator just now.. since all of her eggs are mixed breeds, I figure to fill in the non fertile/non hatching ones with my eggs/chicks.. I get 75 cents per egg that hatches.. nothing for the non hatches.

I took the Blazer in to Wausau to a fixit shop.. it will be there about a week.. we are going to start with the fuel filter and go from there..

Annie has to pick up a bed from her sister's house tomorrow.. since the Blazer isn't working, I called my ole buddy, brother Dave.. he will haul it with his PU truck..

I won't even have to help.. How's that for negotiating , eh ??

Aw Frenchie, I am so sorry about your buddy.

I gave Brownie a bath today. He looks and feels great! I trimmed a lot of the sun burnt main and tail. He seems happy.
And guess what!!!!! We got the lunge thing down pat :D I have no idea how it worked! We both have no idea what we are doinflg lololol Passerbyers nust think we are just crazzzzzyyyyy! But he will now WALK oon commmand (mostly) and WOA on command :)
I then cleaned his hooves. And practiced holding them up for a looong time. Hopefully he will be a good boy for the farrier.
We really bonded today. I will now attempt a picture of our turning white Brownie.

Cuties, he is going to be one gorgeous little pony! Wow! I love his markings! And good for you working with him already! Did you figure out how tall he is going to end up yet?

Alright Jim here is my story for the evening.

I let Gracie (the terrier runaway) out for the evening to do her business before going to bed. While I waited, I went down the stairs to give Theo some hugs. I called to Gracie, no response. So I thought she was in the doghouse eating his food. I went back in the house to get my shoes and went outside again (there is no way I'm stepping in who knows what). I walked up to the doghouse, no Gracie. I look over at the gate, it is wide open. "Oh crap!" I thought and went into the back yard. I called for her, no response, and I noticed the gate to the rest of the yard was open. "Ugh, she ran away again" I said. I went over to the gate and into the driveway calling for her with no Gracie returning. So I decided to lock up the gate (which DS had left open when he walked Theo around the yard-Good thing Theo stayed home) to the driveway and had begun closing the gate from the side yard where Theo is with the chickens, when he started barking. It really caught me off guard as he doesn't bark. He charged through the gate and to the one by the driveway. Now for a moment I got scared a bit, but then he stopped and I heard Gracie's tags jingle from the collar. He heard her and did a great job letting me know. I hope I get this quick of a turn around each time she runs away! I love this boy!

bigfam-did this one make you cry? Sorry it was a good feelin' moment and I had to share it.

Didn't check the eggs again, but will again when its light out.
