She looked great when DH & I stopped by the day before Mem. Day, but I think she had posted back then that she wasn't well.

Who said I was painting the whole bathroom??????? Good grief I just painted it two years ago. This is just patch painting over the plaster work the DH did. Still a PITA since it all needed to be primed, then I need to put two coats on it.

At least I managed to get two cakes baked today. Chocolate and carrot.

Yes BigFam is back, and apparently too good for us now that she has been eating Haggis.

Well, I'm losing one electronic after another. My laptop's dvd player doesn't work. And yesterday my converter box for the TV fried !!! Not a cable or satellite box. The kind you need to get rabbit ear reception with the old TV's. So I can't watch my dvd's from GiddyUp Flix and can't watch TV here in the bedroom. OMET watches different channels so I'm screwed. I had extra boxes or so I thought. went to look in the closet to get one and NONE !! ARGH...
Went to Antigo today to get dog food and pig food and to pick up the Avon Skin So Soft. I was going to stop at the health food store for some essential oils but the clerk where I got the Avon told me that the small grocery store in town had them. I came home with Lavender, Cedarwood, Peppermint, Lemon Grass and Eucalyptus and maybe one or two more, don't remember. I already had Citronella and Tea Tree. Went to a website I found on Google Image and it does say NOT to use essential oils on dogs or cats. Especially Cats !!
Did you hear that CL ? Oh and they had the Graves Grain Alcohol (95% 190 proof) $15.99 for a liter. EverClear same size $18.99. They must have upped their alcohol content (EverClear) because la few years ago it was lower than Graves.... just thought you might want to know what the price was CL.

Oh and I have TONS and I mean TONS of eggs that I will be hard boiling and feeding some to the chickens and dogs around here. I always candle my eggs to look for small cracks before I sell them. Well to my surprise two eggs for sure had the veining and were definitely growing something in them.
ET has no idea which pen it came from. So either he missed a few eggs prior to the bash and they were older then three days or ???? So I told him I don't feel comfortable selling any and I do mean TONS !!!

That has never happened here. Now I'll be real nervous when I sell eggs unless I collect them myself etc. and even then I might keep my fingers crossed !! lol

Ok, well I need to pop my pill and get some ZZZZ's..... Busy day tomorrow.....Night All (or Good Morning) btw no ducklings or goslings yet ! No doubt they are going to share the same hatch day !!!

Oh forgot, my celcom router's antennas are broken and hanging with wires AND how can I forget this.... our Chest Freezer in the basement quit working.... when we don't know...everything is thawed !!! Fr!ck !!!!

Hi All!

FT.... Wow... sounds like electric stuff goes there to die like yard care stuff does here!

Well, 2 mice bit the dust today and one yesterday. The cats do try! I washed the silverware/ knife/ Misc. drawer tonight and coated the edges in peppermint oil and added some peppermint cotton balls. Hope it helps! The cap to the peppermint was chewed so I don't know...

With all the in and out of this house (mostly with hands full) it's almost impossible to keep the cats in! Besides, if they can catch rodents before they get in, all the better!

Last day of school today!!!!!!

TO, no GF cake yet. I am going to get that one baked this morning. Painting in the bathroom is finished, now we just need the sink.

Off to the races!!!!!!

I went to candle my next batch to set into lockdown and over half of the Brinsea was pipped lastnight along with my home made camper bator. Woke up to 10(9blrw and 1 banty cross) chicks already and today is lockdown. A total of 91 eggs made it and another 130 will go tomorrow. I didn't plan on them all hatching this early as I wasn't done with the new bigger brooders I was making for all of them and I have a visit and appt to see the pulmanologist today so won't be home til this afternoon to finish. They will have to stay in the bators until I'm finished.

Mel, somethings wrong with one of the BLR I got from you, the non crooked beak one. She won't stand up right and kinda curls her feet, she's good weight and is still eating and drinking. I put her in a separate pen lastnight as the roos are seeing her as fair game. I hope she will be ok as I have no clue what is going on with her other than maybe the roos were being too ruff with her as they seem to always fight over her.

It looks like we have a new hatch master.. are you having any trouble finding enough eggs to fill your trays ?

Morning all. I do miss waking up to you all. Although, I sure am glad that my bed is here and that you don't have to see my wild morning hair!

No work today, I take Fridays off in the summer. I took the opportunity to re-season a cast iron grill. I've got all the rust off and it's in for round #1.

Not much else here!
