Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

cs, sorry to hear about your work. I have two men here that do always try to bully me. Not very passively tho. I mowtly just bear it. It is a factory. And pretty much how it is. I realise this will just be a part of my job given my choice of career. Sometimes they make me cry. But mostly I can ignore them and be happy I have it pretty good outside of work

Cuties, tell them to knock it off. Harassment in the workplace is unacceptable. If they continue, try to record them on your phone, then file a complaint. Be strong! These two are a couple of punks that should have their butts canned. If the company does nothing you can file a complaint with the state.

Jim, I hope you find your puppy soon.

Sent the youngest DS down to IL with my cousin this morning. They get to pretend they have a son for a week.

After the off road biking we did yesterday, I sent him down with a complete set of rollerblading padding and his bike helmet, along with an extra medical insurance card just in case! The kid has no fear........

Kendra, I see Carthage is in need of an Admin. Assistant..........

perhaps I should apply.......

taking a break,, met my goal,, the garden is all in ..and so am I ..

the garden is 50 feet long and 33 feet wide.. I planted a whole pound of Serendipity sweet corn..
( 50 foot rows.. I double planted some of the rows just to use up the extra seed..

50 feet of beets,, 12 feet of carrots.. and 50 feet of yellow wax beans..

now I am going to go get 50 feet of pepper plants.. if there are any left at the green house.. I D K if I will plant any tomatoes.. maybe just 3 or 4 plants ? depends on what I can find at the green house..

No puppy yet,, we checked both sides of the road.. nothing.. we suspect somebody saw her close or on the road and picked her up.. if so, I hope she sh!ts and pukes on their new carpet.. she never went out to the road before..

Wow!

You should give the local shelter a jingle... just incase.

good morning,, puppy is still missing.. I walked around a good part of the property,, nada ..

JP called this morning,, I told him not to expect a lot of keets from this hatch,, If he wants them, I will give him the unhatched eggs.. he can check them out..

I am going to push real hard today and see if we can get all the rest of the stones picked,, and then I am going to try to plant everything but tomatoes and peppers.. I don't have those plants yet..

If I don't find any peppers, no big deal,, we have a lot of them in the freezer from last year..

same with tomatoes.. we have plenty of them canned .. Ken just likes to eat them. so a couple of plants will do..

there is a big green house close to us.. last year I went there and got my plants late, like now..
got a real good price as they were about ready to close up for the season..
the choices were limited, but to me a tomato is a tomato.. I don't eat very many ..

I can see one keet is having trouble standing upright.. I hope he gets the hang of it soon .. he seems to be getting better,, he started out on his back, but now he is right side up..
practice, practice, baby ..

well, it's not going to stay cloudy and cool forever, better get at the garden,,

........jiminwisc..........
Jim- I hope she comes back soon. Could she have gotten locked up somewhere recently on your property. Like in the hatching barn? Would she have gone down by the river?

If you like a lot of babysitting!

Quote: she never strayed off of the grass right around the house,, as far as the river goes, even the big dogs don't go there.. but she might have.. If she were locked up somewhere, it is not like her to let her feelings go unannounced.. she disappeared between 8 and 10 AM.. she was with me when I had coffee under the tree.. then she ate and I went to the garden.. at 10 Annie came home and we never saw her after she ate..

the last thing that could have happened is one of the big dogs killed her..
Last week, Dora bit her hard enough to draw blood.. but unless she ate her, there is no body to be found..

My Old English Sheepdog disappeared once when he was a puppy. I searched the swamps, around the river, the farm fields. I had put up signs at the nearby gas station. He ended up at someones house that was about a mile and a half away, crosscountry. I'm glad the people were honest and returned him. They really liked him and had hoped nobody would come looking for him.
