Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Ok, so I went out there and the darn thing must have wanted to stay there. Theo picked it up and tossed it around, I grabbed it and shoved it through the fence. If its smart, it won't come back. I gave him a treat and told him he did good.

One of those little storms that popped up did some damage yesterday, but I do not think it was near anyone on here that I am aware of. We are supposed to get dumped on in an hour or so here in the middle of the state. Weather forecasters are warning of 2-4" of rain with this line coming though......

Poor DH went into work this morning at 5, had to come home and pretty much go to bed so he could be at work by 10:30 tonight. I am hoping they let those guys out at a decent hour and not by 11 AM........ one of the caca parts of his job: working every Holiday, and weekend. The holiday shifts with 'projects' are the worst, and that is what this one is.

Trying to stay cool, but I am not complaining about the heat! Anything is better than those cold temps last winter!

That is about it for here.

Near colfax
Oh, yeah..I heard something about Colfax..

good Theo..

I think that young wild animals usually don't have rabies .. most of the older ones don't either..

what you want to watch for is any normally nocturnal animal who is out in the daytime and acting unafraid or weird . wandering around aimlessly .. or just walking slowly without any concern of things around it.. lets you approach and doesn't try to get away .

don't let your dog attack such an animal.. and keep you and yours out of it's way... kill it if you have the chance .. then don't pick up the carcass .. you can still get scratched and infected from a dead animal..

also treat any dead animal that you find the same way .. you don't know what it died from..

If you must handle it, use a shovel or a fork.. then disinfect the tool ..

Evening all.

Got dumped on and a great light show that SO enjoyed standing in the roof if the car port (as usual), then came in soaked. Duh! Started about 8.30pm but no tornadoes. Drizzling now but saw a bit more coming. This is all the cool we will get tonight, so trying to enjoy it and on tues and wed this will be our high's again! Crazy weather...

Just can't wait to see how the States and Germany play... But I think there is a reason Americans never made it this far before! The same would be if Germany would participate in the Super Bowl.

Duck house FINALLY done and in place. Just a few minor adjustments and redoing the pen sectioning and it's good for move in!

So far, so good. Cleaned out the condos all the way, took out his messed up plastic flooring creation (that just invited bad things) and was able to finally spray and clean it out good! The ducks were really happy too. Then we did some grilling right up to when the wind blew the paper plates around our ears while running back to the house before the downpour. Now just relaxing and letting the skeeter bites go away.

Gonna call it a night now... Cu
