Paper work is done..time for field work,

Cuties.....the chicks are doing great!  Brooder is in the coop, heat lamp is on for the next couple of nights. They are great as little pack hunters when a mosquito enters the brooder.

Good to hear! Ours in front he barn as e crazy for the flies and mosquitoes too. I would like to teach them to eat he spiders

Hey all!
Very quiet day here for sure.
We are going to fireworks tonight. I really hope Blake was a good boy at school today. Hubhy's old him he would miss fireworks if he was naughty
chickens are growing well. We have the tester coming out on Sunday to ready us for the fair. I amggetaway ing more excited to see how they do!

Del, looks like we will be making a trip to Racine tomorrow. Have anything for sale we would be interested in ?

Maybe tomorrow I can get the tiller in....4th or not ...gardens come first.

Bought a huge watermelon with the seeds...cut er in half...took out the major part, and the birds are having a summer of fun with the first half...dang they are fun to have....

good afternoon,

the computer tech was here,, adjusted the receiver on the house,, and Kalib and I cut a few branches off of the black walnut tree.. I don't know which treatment it was that did it, but I have good puter service again..

JP has 20 keets today.. I think there are still more to come..

I got a good portion of the lawn mowed..

was going to work on the concrete forms again, but it started to rain.. I don't think it is going to last long , though..

Annie got the beets and carrots weeded.. she bought a packet of green beans.. I guess I ought to plant them for her..

had another piece of strawberry short cake for lunch..

going up to see if the rain stopped..

I remember the name, but don't have much recall of what you have for chickens.. It has been a looong time ..

I just finished framing up the sidewalk and have the first secrion ready to pour. tomorrow I have to go to Menard''s and pick up a few bags of redimix ..

as soon as I am finished with my cold beverage, I am hitting the showers..
