She is F1 olive egger. I was hoping to keep an F2 for us. But our last hatch was horrible! And I sold the few we had. Hopefully next year I will get to keep one.

Cute chick pics! But our chickens don't seem to be/go broody

Dang rain came back and made everything into a mud pit again. Now all the ducklings are complaining cause I won't let them out, but with some good storms on the way I won't do it.

After an awefully short night full of whining from the brats dog (can't I just shoot him?!?) and some more this morning I put him on his kennel and put that one under the car port. I was barely back to sleep when out bumble Pekin was honking and talking with her complaining friends outside. Of course the bathroom don't help much to mask the sounds...

So I've been up, taking care of everyone and feeding the masses (including the finally quiet dog!) and am ready to head back to bed. Might just do that as I'm about ready to keel over from a big migraine and lack of sleep. No clue why this dog seems to be getting worse in whining every time after I was gone for a couple of days. Maybe SO let's him out every time he starts to whine?! But that hard headed male brain don't seem to understand that this only makes it so much worse! Urgh...

Okay, sending that storm more east to all of you now. Sick and tired of this wet summer already. Bet you we will have a dry heat wave in August again. Can't win for loosing...
