Well that was exhilarating!
Rudy barked, I let him out. He stood on the deck ramp and barked (like he always does as a warning). I saw a flash of eyes by the bachelor pen and grabbed the .22 and the flashlight ran out... then I got a weft ...SKUNK!

cind, at close range, a fox has sort of a skunky smell.. did you manage to shoot the animal ?

Rainy Day here today. Not sure if I want to hunt today or not yet.

Is zeke still driving, or did he land a off the road real job LOL? I was on the road for almost 30 years.....trust me, it's a real stressful job.

zeke went to a different trucking company,, lost some seniority, but he will be able to retire in less than 2 years from now..

I got DSL installed today,, I hope I will have better luck with it than with the "silo" provider ..

BIL hooked it up for me,, IDK how they expect the homeowners to do it themselves.. He was here for a few hours.. had to call for assistance. had assistance guy on the phone for about an hour..

I started setting up some poles for ice fishing .. I have about 6 jig poles lined and ready..
Dave has plenty of tip-ups , so I am not going to mess with mine.. I would rather jig anyhow..

I was going to back drag the driveway today, but not in this rain.. the rain will loosen up the granite, so tomorrow or the next day will be soon enough..

Hey all!

Found out where all of the hens have been laying......they decided the rabbit pen was a great place, found 12.

I had Theo out tied up with the chickens. He chewed through the leash and attacked a hen. Ugh!!!!

My dad is having surgery tomorrow to get a stent put in. He'll be at St. Luke's in Milwaukee.

Not much else happening here.

I like this DSL so far,, we have really cloudy skies and it isn't affecting my computer at all..

and it is ten times faster..

I took Theo for his 1st walk off of the property. Holy moly is he strong. Ok Cuties, we need to talk. Since the conversations/advise earlier this week, I've decided to train/do things with Theo that I'd do with any other dog, but that I thought I wasn't supposed to do with him (walking off of the property, letting him inside, etc). I think that he needs either a harness, choke chain, or training collar to move forward. I'm thinking that a training collar, as previously suggested, would help me with several issues that I'm having with him. Advise please

St Luke's is a very excellent hospital- that is were my dad was for 6 weeks early this year- very greatful to all the wonderful doctors and nurses who cared for him.
