Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

GO PACK!

What a beautiful weather day we had again today. Nice time in the stand this afternoon. I watched a doe for about a half hour, that was it for deer. Sure smells good in the woods this time of year.

Time for supper....stuffed cabbage with fresh buttered carrots, and a glass or two of vino.

Stupid Lions won today....we need a win!

She's 1/4 silkie, 3/4 bantam cochin. She doesn't even care when I mess around with the chicks. Her cage is in the garage and I take them all out to free range during the day. Then when its getting dark, she waits be the garage and I pick them all up and bring them in. I don't have any chicks out of her. They always seem to be roosters. Maybe next year I'll make it a point to hatch some of her eggs. She's just the cutest, sweetest little thing. I only have 2 chickens that I pick up and give attention to. Angel and my bantam black faverolles hen. That neighbor dog better not kill any more chickens, especially Angel.

Thanks for the info guys :)
we got Spike all set up with the two kind of lights. We are using papertowel now. But are going to put tilenon the floor. We got crickets and dusted them. They are tiny! He ate a few right away. I must say the 20-50 crickets a day took my breath away! The gal at the pet store told me give him 6 every 2 days.. I think I will just put all 30 in and see where we wind up. I will also probably start some sort of colony for him. My sis used to have bearded dragon s. And is super excited lol
I do not know how old he is. Just that he is a baby. His head is just larger than a quarter. He is currently in a 10 gallon as when I was researching I read they can get lost in a larger tank when they are young. So we decided to wait on the big tank. But we do have a 55 gallon that he will move into. We gave him some tiny carrot peels. But he had no interest. I will stop to get some veggies to see if he would like other things. But also read that as babies they mostly just need the bugs.
Went trick or treat today. Was busy! Then had 4-h meeting. Lots of gogo!
Bbp, what a good hen.
good luck with the cottage Terri!

Today has proven a bit challenging. DD12 is cutting herself. DH and I cleaned out her room real good as well as other parts of the house and locked up somethings in the garage. She says she doesn't like herself.
Gpa is doing well and able to shower and drive again. I'm nervous about his bypass but I have to trust in a high power here.
I'm getting really confused with what to do and not for Theo. I have been walking him around the yard and previous to just the other day had never walked him off the property. Only did it once. There is a dog park close that I'll take him to and just continue with what we were doing before. I'm open to opinions on choke chains versus training collars. A training collar would allow me to use it for perimeter training, chicken training, or anything else. The choke chain scares me as he has alot of fur to get stuck and not release.

Hi All!

CS.... i hope you can find some good help for your daughter.

A guy is coming to set traps. Talked to another neighbor who saw it in their backyard, and they don't have neat as much yard! The next day they got a shotgun lol.

Yup BigZ, I'll be making stuffed cabbage too this week. I'm going to make enough to freeze some.

Nothing more.... night all!
