Were they all together like that, or did you put them that way? Anything in th weasel family will line the kill up. Looks like that's what it was to me. Coons will go for the neck, but usually only take one at a time. Not sure what else you have roaming wrong there, but a tethered rat trap will work on a weasel.

wow that's not cool...wish you the best of luck in hunting...hope you get it we have raccoons and it got one of our birds cause I left the chicken door open...so I understand...

No I piled them, but their were 3 piled together in one pile and 4 in another when I found them. I'm getting a live trap right now and if make it thru night a trappers calling me in morning to come set traps.

Dang. So sorry Stacy! It is just one endless shitty year for some, me included! And sure does look like a mink to me. We have some here too but with everyone securely locked up at night they only killed one of the millions of rabbits and left the body right by the gazebo. Go figure!

So Ur gonna bring Mr. Ducky and the rooster over one of these days? Ducks shouldn't be alone or will you get a friend for him now? Not good alone in with all the chickens.

Here all is doing Oki. Gonna give them all the chance to swim again this weekend (mass diving!) to get the clean and better to prune themselves again. Just gotta make sure the pool hogs aka geese will let them!

Everyone is enjoying the somewhat warmer weather and one of our chickens started laying again! Woot! And the ducks didn't get the message that it is winter and to slow down it seems. Right now we get about 6-12 duck eggs a day!!! Which is a good thing as it helps with the feed bill this winter.

Made like 6 different types of cookies this last week and still feels like I'm missing some. So I guess I'm gonna make a couple more this weekend. And then send some to family in Germany to enjoy as they've been busy moving my grandparents into another apartment, just a few floors down from my parents. Gonna be so much easier!

After tonight's catchup cuddle session with my baby Quincy (crested Rouen drake) and my dogs all around me I feel better now. Buried our poor Studmuffin finally too.

Jim, you should post a couple new pics of the puppies!

I have no clue where to even find a Blue Swede duck, he sure is lonely. Was sitting next to his lady when I found them this am. Walking around lonely and quacking. He's in a kennel right now with the BLRW birds. Lady is in house with me, her eye took a good hit for sure. Cleaned it all up and put Bacitracin on it, also give her some oregano & garlic juice. She's in the the BLRW bantams like nothing ever happened. I'm afraid she'll lose her eye, it's pretty beat up. Their were so many dead I didn't even realize i had 5 LIght Brahmas and only found the 2 at first. When i went to set trap and secure the BLRW I found the other 3 heads gone.Total death count is 17. I'm sure it's a mink. Hope the trap catches it, have the deer cam set up also to at least catch it on that. I have a trapper calling me in the am to come set traps if I don't catch it. Although his are kill traps and will have to keep the outside cats penned up while they would be set.

I have 4 BLRW pullets and 1 cock, Lady my Silkie/cochin x SS hen, never touched Zeus's coop(BLRW roo with 3 Ameracaunas, 2 Black Australorps, 1 Cochin and 1 BLRW hen) along with 40 chicks in the house which I won't be selling any as of right now until I know what I have for sexes.
