Brent, you better watch it, I know where you live. I bake up cookies to give away as gifts to friends and neighbors. The only people earning inches would be everyone else in the house, the cook abstains as much as possible! Besides, I have a wedding to go to in March so I need to maintain my waistline as much as possible.

Well, he's officially passed. Poor little guy. He was like the little brother that my daughter never had. She's taking the whole thing very hard. I haven't told her that he's gone. She's still praying for a Christmas miracle. I'll let her sleep tonight and tell her tomorrow. My brother is a veteran that has some problems as far as nightmares and things like that. He's had a drinking problem. He was also told that his chance of ever having kids was very small. So this chikd was so special to him. I fear for what comes next for him. I'm afraid we shouldn't leave him alone

This morning one of my little faverolles mix hens was dead. She was in a pen with my pregnant rabbit, thats due any day, some other bantam hens and 2 cockerels coming into their own. I wonder if it was murder . . .

The answer to my own question...is yes the lone roo will step up. Not a good day for his brothers, but hes a happy camper with 9 ladies. Have always used a plucker for the meat birds. Wanted to see how difficult hand plucking would be. Took me longer to set up & clean up afterwards than
actually plucking & cleaning birds.

Packer Sunday To Everyone.....dang that's bad news bbp. Life can be a full plate at times for sure. I'll continue to pray for the best one can expect in this situation.

The game yesterday was a tale of two halves...glad the niners were beat.

I figured I could ruff a feather bl4...glad you could take it...dang that was fun!

For the extra egg whites question - make merengue cookies or Schaum Torte. My mom always made merengue cookies with Hershey kisses inside. yummy!

We put a deposit down on a pup yesterday. We will pick him up mid January. Gotta get the yard and house puppy proofed sometime in the next three weeks.
not really looking forward to house training, etc. in winter, but it will be nice to have a farm dog around the place.

I'm scared of the night clowns also, hope they stayed away for you.

My heart is breaking for the family of that little boy. My prayers for all.

Ok guys, I'm not even kidding here. My grandma had a major stroke today! My uncle came to my house hysterical and had me go over there and we had to call the ambulance. She got transported to Regions in St. Paul. Lots of bleeding in the brain and signs that she's been having small strokes for some time. I hope that's my three things: Nephew, hen, grandma. Please be done now, bad things.

figured I would check in got the three doors hung and the tarp on top of the four coops, birds moved into place and going to be setting thirty eggs tommarow
