Hi All!

Hope the nasty critters get caught!

Nice to see a couple of you hiders come out and play! LOL Spring must be in the air!

coonhound..... if I can survive here and are willing to meet these people, you certainly can. I am not a people person but these people are almost as nuts as me.LOL And, were all poultry people!!!

That's it for me.... Night All!

morning everyone....cant wait for the warm to hit...package from gqf is delayed now because of the emergency block on 65....oh boy...southerners just dont know how the handle the cold...you have to drive slower on icy snowy roads....that dont mean floor it....yeeee haaa....and then the ditch....i guess some people were in there cars for 12 plus hours....that would not be fun....so expect delays if anyone is getting any shipments from the south

Who can't tell the difference between a Cougar and a weasel type animal ?

I LOL at the lady they interviewed on the national weather/news..
she said, I was going only 45 when all of a sudden I spun around twice..
ya think ??

If you cannot see the 100+ pound difference between a cougar and a fisher; you need to get your eyes checked!

Coonhound, I am just as cautious. This is a great group of folks! Just like any family sometimes we get a little testy but nothing that gets out of hand since the referees will keep us in check along with the mods.

How is way out east rock county tonight?

Not to add to the mink weasel confussion, BUT... I have seen Fishers run across the road in my headlights near me down here, so you might want to look at this wiki link for comparing to what you saw.

It was a gorgeous night. The moon was so bright I was hoping to see some night critters, but no such luck.

Fish Fry Friday To All....yep bl4 I knew it was pdf and I have adobe, but it didn't work...then when I tried the link on Terri's quote it works...weird for sure. My puter was taking a nap or hiding after watching blacklist from across the room...LOL.

Don't know what we are making yet for FFF...something that swims for sure though.

Must be warming up some...I have some snow sliding off the metal roof. It was those couple inches of ice like snow...must be kinda slippery stuff.

The annual Mountain Bay Coyote hunt near Eland ended up with 38 coyotes harvested. The Clintonville group took first place with 8 kills and they also passed on a large wolf that isn't fair game. They are calling the hunt a successful one. It's held at the Tangle Bar, wherever that is near Eland.

early afternoon, haven't been on in awhile- just not enough time in the day(week) to stay current. The past month has been crazy for us to say the least. We added a few new critters as part of 4-H projects for the kids- our 2 French Angora does kindled on Feb 12th- both ended up with 5 kits each and they are doing great! We also added 3 Nigerian Dwarf does- 2 confirmed bred and the 3rd exposed. The first doe to kid had a buckling on Feb 18th 2015. The next doe is due the week after Easter and the 3rd the end of June.

Peanut's kits

Rascal- just hours old

Planning to tap our maple trees today as the weather is right for collecting.

Enjoy the nice weather ahead!
