Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Thanks, cuties. I'm finding it difficult to have some restraint coming into my second summer now that I've got experience and some confidence.

Been reading a little about this dog thing. Not entirely sure what's going on, but I'll say this. From horses to dogs & cats to parrots almost every animal I've shared my home or land with were rescues. The purebred Border Collie beside me neurotically sucking his toes (throwback to being tied out in bad weather damaging his feet) is one of a long line. People not making wiser choices presume there's always a guardian angel out there to clean up the mess. The statistics say otherwise. So to all you other folks doing your best to undo/prevent these horrors, my hat's off to you.

I try to do my share to help the dog world by training people young how to properly train their dogs to be obedient. I train the 4-h dog class because I love kids and dogs. And hope to help educate them young g on how much work really goes into taking care of our pets!

Now that's making a difference.
Bless your soul!

We have a 5 year old Plott hound mix. He's on Prozac, mostly because nothing else was working. We were worried that he was going to kill himself with all the stuff he was destroying and eating. He spent most of his days tied up outside (when the neighbors had him), from very early in the morning until very late at night, probably because of his behavior. The poor dog had no food water or shelter. We would check on him every day. The animal shelter finally took him back and that's how we got him.

He still has bad days, but they are few and far between, and we love him to death!:)

Posoh, if you are looking for a calm beautiful and even friendly chicken, Brahma is the way to go! They are amazing. And will coo to you and k ne another.

I know that our chicks are way too young to make hasty decisions. However, I love just sittting with them and watching them grow into themselves. And there is this one little guy that is sticki g out like a sore thumb!! Nice wide backside. Which my line could use some of for sure.
I said my line. Not me

Aahhh the plot hound. We also have a mix. We got him at a chicken swap as a pup. He wants to please. Don't get menwrong. However he is the hardest I have ever had. More so than working breeds. But we love Bones just the same.
