good evening, first of all let me say thank you for actually reading my post,, sure, make one tiny mistake and somebody will catch it..
but when one is always looking for one of those, I suppose they are easier to spot ..

I put 15 guinea eggs in the bator today,, mine..

and JimP brought me 66 guinea eggs of his to put in..
He must have found a community nest,, said he wasn't sure if all of them are good or not..

I have 3 of his chicks in the bator right now.. he will pick them up on Wednesday..

we put collars on the two goats today.. for being somebody's pets, they sure are not very tame,,
they are VERY bonded to each other..

I took Frankie to meet them,, she didn't even seem to notice them,, good..but they noticed her, for sure..

had a thunder storm roll through here about 7 PM,, short and sweet.. looks like rain for this weekend , and in the 60's for temps..

Hi all, nice to see you all talking about the bash- wish I had joined earlier but havent had time to plan to go this year. We got a lot done this weekend; DH got a new lawnmower so is no longer outgunned on our 4 acres to mow... met one of our new neighbors who is an organic gardener and said he would take all our chicken poo as they make it. Not sure I wanna give it all up but definitely some I'm sure. He also has a lot of farm implements and offered to help us by coming over with them when he has time.

We continue to work on the coop- hopefully by this coming weekend we will be able to get them out there. They are definitely tooooo big for the kiddie pool brooder but we need somewhere to go with them before we move them! Will post photos once we are finished.

Thanks to all who have served, are serving, and plan to serve our country to keep us free!

Jim, I was going to comment on that dick comment! But they beat me to it!
if you were closer to me you would be selling those keeps faster than they hatch. Every chick order I get comes with a request for keets. But I do not know any in the area. Stopped by the neighbors. And they don't have any available this year.
Been a good busy weekend here barn projects, and froends/ family for cookouts ♡

Its 1 in the morning and I just got woke out of a very deep sleep. Woke up gasping. Dang dog of jiminWisc got in my chicken coop and was going after my girls. Keep your dog at home Jim.

anybody here looking for a couple of female pygmy goats ?
I am sure they would tame down if somebody had the time to play with them a little..

Yeah, a bad one. Then I went back to sleep and dreamed that the other girls pulled every feather out of Gimpy and I had to wrap her up in a blanket. Weird dream night.

What is funny....I don't even know Jim.....what was your dog doing in NY state? And when was this? Was that a dream?
