I too got hit by the ACA. They took out $1000 extra from my checking account without notifying me. I did get $600 of it back two months later. If you want something screwed up put the government in charge of it.Great job Stacy!
This weekend I will start sending some of the broilers to freezer camp.
They were a straight run so I will wait on the pullets. I would take pics of the plucker Jim, but Cuties would have to tell me how she got her pictures to post on this site.
Regardless how busy we seem to be...its hard to get ahead with the idiots that regulate our lives.
Just notified our health care will be canceled....does not meet ACA (Obama care ). With premiums & deductibles paid out this year already...we will be over $20,000. This has been a complete disaster to us.
And Stacy...state regulations currently require grey water to go to your septic system only.
Foundation drains & water treatment units can be ground discharged.
It Is incredible the tidal wave of regulations we have to deal with today.
Uh, yeah. It was the other way around. If they float, the eggs are old. Fresh eggs have hardly any air in them. As they age, the air sac gets larger. We did the same this summer. Were getting few eggs, we found the nest,, had 10 eggs, we took them into the house and put them in water to see if they floated. They all did, so we ate them. It is said if they do not float, they are bad. Well, we are still here and no one got sick from them, so I guess that works. Maybe it was the other way around, anyway......
