Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Went to a "game feed" for supper. Ate about 50 lbs of bear meatloaf, bbq raccoon, antelope stew, buffalo meatballs, elk stroganof, and I dunno WHAT all else. Now I've got elk stuck in my teeth, and heartburn.

I'm thinkin' raccoon would make good vindaloo (an escpecially hot and stinky curry).

curry anything sounds good to me.
I ate all of that except antelope.
you can add porcupine, snapping turtle.
had a chance to eat fox sausage, turned it down.

nope, no beaver either.
I wouldn't eat anything out of the canine or cat family.

I heard muskrat is good too. another one I wouldn't try

I am not a big fan of smoked meat. I do like jerky and smoked fish, though.

Good evening...lots of basketball games this weekend for the kids...busy busy! Watching the pro bowl because my son is football crazy but just not that exciting.
So I have a young hen who has been laying great but stopped a fe days ago and looking at her today her come is pale and droopy. Thinking I will bring her into garage tomorrow and put a heat lamp on her...should I do anything else for her? Not sure what is going on with her...

Vitamins/electros & heat are the best things you can do for an "off" bird. Good luck!

cs, my 4 year old lav hen is still laying pretty well. Not as much at this time of the year as the younger ones but not too bad.

Smoked fish, yum!

My arm swelled up real big and when I woke up Thursday morning, I just couldn't believe my eyes. It swelled from Thursday through Friday from my wrist up past my shoulder and into my back/neck and chest. Doc called in a blood test, CT scan, and vein imagery. All clear. Saturday, I woke up and the swelling has decreased but I had a rash on the upper arm. With no injury, no blockage, etc I am left with an allergic reaction to something? Oh well, I'm on the mend although still itchy! I must need another Benadryl?
My sisters arm will get just like that from bee stings. Definitely more Benadryl. I hope you are feeling better soon.
