Jim, you sound a lot like my husband. He loves designing things to suit our purposes.hi,
I got 5 eggs by noon, still have to check one more time before I lock the doors.
I took Ollie for a spin, we back graded the driveway,
scraped up enough loose granite to fill in some low spots.
the new chicken feeder I made is working very well.
am thinking of building one that will meter out finely ground oats and corn.
I have a couple of designs in mind..

Hi All.
Rudy has his hind leg in a sling. looks kinda weird but keeps the weight off and the leg in place. He's been pretty quiet but did hobble outside to pee. Thanks for the concern.
Jim, when you start designing the feeder, consider putting a cone on the inside. This will help keep the food flowing to the holes and not setting in the bottom, center of the bucket. I did that with mine. You loose a little volume, but at lest it keeps flowing.
Night All.
