I just talked to Cindy on Fb. She is going through a rough patch right now and can't have her chickens anymore. She is understandably very upset about the whole mess. It is too painful a reminder for her to come back here right now. Hopefully in time she will come back to visit.

That is so unfair for her! Hope she is feeling better soon.

I mowed the whole lawn today. taking a break and thinking of pushing the manure pile more into a higher pile .. kind of spread out right now..

Give me a woodchuck any day! THe fox here has 4 kits that play in the pasture...some x-marine is supposed to be coming over to shoot them. I thought today but didnt see anything...

I had a guinea hatch today and a few turkey eggs are pipping. Hopefully they will hatch cause that fox got the Naragansett I got from Cuties! THe Royal palm is sitting on eggs in the shed so maybe safe.

I am heading to bed...Gosh I hope Cind is OK...Poor lady! TerriO

Coop moving along, will post photos soon. Had to call a neighbor over for some down time and a beer as the project about put him over the edge at one point. Keeps mumbling something about " impossible...... looks like crap...... no blueprints, who does that?......" and one eye was starting to twitch a bit. Pulled two from the keg and tried to look surprised when Matt pulled into the driveway. They finished most of the north side in the dark and Steve was in a better mood this morning.
Bummer on the fox, any chance the DNR would do a live trap and relocation since there are kits?

Going greenhouse hopping today to find some plants to put in the newly revamped round bed out front!!!! Love love love. Looks like the frizzle chicks I picked up last week may actually be frizzled! They are getting their wing feathers in and they are flipping up instead of lying flat. Frost did a number on my cukes, beans and pumpkins but I have seed to replant with. Later gators.
