Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

had a good storm here, no damage. but DD Barby called from Wausau, she says lots of damage and even a few smashed cars.

I got the fuel lines on the whacker. it still doesn't start. I am thinking a good carb cleaning.
I already had the carb disassembled, and put back together , all seemed good, but I can never tell if the diaphram is good or not.

Had a blast this weekend! Us girls gave a new meaning to cackling hens last night too. Brent FYI I got home and had 2 broodies, so your eggs are taken care of by the fuzzy butts of thing one and two. Vicky (weegarden) it was so nice to meet you and your family and I'm glad you were able to make it!
Thanks so much chicken scratch! We had a ball! That was the most cackling I've done in a very long time! It was a blast!

What a special Bash this was. New friends, fun, surprises that you don't expect, and a weekend in the woods that will be memories for me, forever....asking for more than that...how could you? It happens once a year... HOPE YOU CAN MAKE IT NEXT TIME. We are so blessed, in so many ways....nothing better than a bunch of cheeseheads, eh!

Great news about the broodies....and glad you had a safe trip home...we worry you know! Tell Nathan that we missed him too!

It's all about us as friends...their are so many to mention.....Thanks for a great bash!

Thank you so much for arranging this! We had a wonderful time!

Our power flickered half a dozen times but never actually went out. Heard the round barn area about 3 miles south had lost power though. Time to think about grit.... any suggestions? Is it me, or do they just look angry?

grit: If you can leave them out on any kind of natural ground, they will scratch up enough grit.
a shovel full of sod or any kind of sand or dirt in their run will take care of their needs..
