Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Thanks for the comments on the produce. I have about 6 varieties of tomatoes planted. Couldn't tell you right off hand which but the stakes with names are out there for fall retrieval. My plants are tall enough that I can hide between the 2 rows standing up. In fact there is a spot in the middle of the rows that they have grown together overhead. I plant pole beans so I have about a plastic shopping bag's worth to pick every few days.

We don't plant lettuce so not sure about fall crop on that but IF it cools off you can do a fall crop of radishes.

we do not do fall planting, but, if I was to do it. I would check out the package and see how long it takes for the vegetable to ripen.
then try to guess when the first frost will hit..

half time,

we could do without the commentators
then to top off their asinine comments, they interview a player while the game is in progress ? that's one for "Come on" ,.

careful Corey, if you rent that tractor, then you will really want one.

I made 4 brush piles today. it was warm , but with all the trees I am pretty much in the shade.

I dismantled the teepee.. that was a whole load for the burn pile..

I hauled 3 more loads back to the burn pile.

I have some tree roots to pull out. it would go a lot easier on me to have somebody to hook up the chain so I don't have to hop on and off of the tractor. that wears me out more than working does.

Just called about renting a compact tractor with a bucket and a brush hog. 280 for a day. Cheaper than i thought

You could rent that a lot of times before you use up $8000.oo.
Do they have any other attachments ? like drag, hiller, furrower?

Do they deliver/pick up

Annie has picked enough black berries to start a batch of wine. As long as it is too wet outside, I guess today is wine starting day.

the Packers won . maybe they should play those rookies in the regular season..

I know there's a tiller attachment available too. It's actually priced 180 for the tractor and 100 for the brush hog. If i got my own trailer and picked it up it would be 280. If I wanted it delivered that would be an extra 100 or if I needed to rent a trailer that would be 75 more. Thank god I have a truck and trailer. 100 dollars to deliver it 6 miles. Crazy

Well, I guess they are in business to make money. can't blame them for that..
You just have to pick your time to rent it and plan to use it as much as you can in a day..
Kind of expensive rototilling, though.. probably can hire it done cheaper..

a long time ago I hired a guy with a middie Fork to work over my driveway.. did a real good job and didn't cost that much either.

We got most of the juice extracted from the black berries and are starting a 5 gallon batch of wine. we have the seeds and pulp in a jelly bag draining the last of the juice out of them. it will take several hours . and I don't have to supervise the process.

It is too wet to work in the brush factory today, I was pushing it yesterday driving the tractor down there.. I left some pretty nice ruts with the ribbed front tires. nothing major, just noticeable..

I froze all my berries to deal with them at a later date. I have a gallon and a half of pure raspberry juice and 5 gallons more of berries to press. I'm not a fan of seeds in jam. Some people leave them in but to me most of the time it makes up half the jar
