Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I have not had that happen to me, but I have been using my phone.

it happens to me quite regularly ..
I have to log out and come back in to correct the situation.

rainy, cold, windy today, but otherwise nice.

I will be working in the shop today. have to plane some boards and make 6 three foot long rafters for the little roof.

then I have to plane some more boards to sheet off the rafters. the steel metal ribbed roofing will go on top of everything.

8 eggs again , yesterday. they are being quite consistent
laying early in the morning. we will have to make a concerted attempt to get out there early and catch them in the nest so we can band the layers..
the freeloaders will be dealt with severely ..

IDK if it is just the weather, but I am having fits with this computer today..

I got 5 of the 6 rafters cut out. got 3 of the 4 perimeter boards cut and planed.. have to go select one more board from the lumber pile to finish these two pieces..

it just won't stop raining.
the temperature us just between a light jacket or none.

didn't feed the chickens yet.. they should be OK for a little while longer.

ETA:
found the board. all the pieces are done.
fed the chickens, collected 4 eggs.
hen still sitting on a nest. but I don't think she will lay eggs to bring us up to the usual 8..

good night..

Boring night at work. Got some gravy for a change finally. I think I'll get by straw down this weekend and make sure my timer is set right for my chicken light. Gonna be canning some salmon on Friday for a buddy. He said if I can it he pays for the stuff as I can keep half. Kind of a hard deal to pass

I woke up really early,
in fact, when I looked at the clock it was 1:50 . almost exactly the same time that you posted , Cory ..

I am having laser eye surgery at 7:30 this morning.
not looking forward to that.. no pun intended ..

I don't know how I will be feeling afterward. but I hope to be up on the roof this afternoon.. we will see.. again, no pun intended ..

I have a bunch of salmon and lake trout in my freezer. Would love to can some. Any special tips? You seem to be my "go to" guy with the wild game questions.

When I do it I take boneless and skinless and pack it in pint jars. 2 tbsp western dressing and 1 tsp sea salt. 10psi for 100 minutes in the pressure canner. Some people do barbecue sauce but I like the dressing enough that I never strayed. It's delicious!

We are major Western dressing fans ourselves. Thank you so much for the info. It would certainly free up some freezer space for venison. Now that I have no problem butchering.

Yes, Jim please let us know how you turned out.
