Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I am looking forward to the pictures!

I am getting more outside work done today. It is kind of overcast, but a little sun is coming through. It is warm out there though. My thermometer says 62 degrees already.

the sun is shining here. might be a good day for pictures.
getting windy, though
so I might pass up the shot from atop the roof .

my next two projects are to pick up the yard and get ready for snow plowing,, and taking a bunch of cuttings from the apple tree and grapes for rooting.

first I have to scrounge up some breakfast. at this time it will be brunch. chef's salad sounds good to me .

It looks great. I can see why you would have to make so many trips up and down the ladder!
This is November, right? 82 degrees here.

thanks, as it stands, that ladder is extended 24 feet and it is sitting on the deck below.

I had Annie and Kalib help me take the ladder down

now back to the game,, 8th inning, cubs are ahead 7-2.

My gosh they did it! What a game! Well played by both teams, and a nice nail biter finish!

Congratulations Cubs! It has been far too long!

We are happy they won, too.
I never watch baseball. but this year I decided to watch the series.. I had no particular love or hate for either team,,
the only reason I picked the Cubs is because Ken (our resident) picked the Indians.. by the last game he was rooting for the Cubs, too.. Musta forgot who he picked .

I have a large load of granite coming today.
going to fill in the holes all along the driveway..
nave to wait for them to call. that doesn't let me outside to do anything..

yesterday I pulled out an armful of grape vines. sat at the kitchen table and cut them into scions with 3 nodes each.
have them soaking for 24 hours and then will be potting them.. there are LOTS of them, I don't expect any good results..

with this warm weather I might have time to transplant the main roots..
