I worked on hauling more rocks today. No tractor, no wheelbarrow. I am TIRED!

Thanks for the compliments. I am very happy with how it is turning out.

This is the latest section we got done.

So sorry to hear about Ken, Jim.

some of those are BIG Robin,,
you must have 100 psi in your tiny tires..

don't hurt yourself..

Those really big stinkers were already there, and Terry carried a bunch of the big ones for me. My scooter looks trashed for a reason though. That poor machine has seen LOTS of rock hauling abuse over the years.

good morning, again,

today I am thinking of dropping the back blade and hooking up the drag. it depends on how cold it feels.
I want to drag the whole garden at least once before the ground freezes.. I usually don't do that, but I think the ground will warm up faster in the spring, if there is no vegetation showing ..

I also have to dump a few buckets of wood chips on the septic tank area.

I also want to give the chicken coop a good cleaning.

so many things, so little time..

Annie found a tiny egg in a nest. either a fluke, or another pullet is starting up.
feeding over 50# of feed per week, and the new chicks are not even full grown yet...

I somehow got ahead of the game. I have both coops completely ready for winter. Last year I was winterizing while I was nearly freezing my butt off. Just need to find one more heated waterer and I am all done. Finally got all the netting and tent spikes out of the strawberry beds. Now to top them off with some composted sawdust and chicken poop. This is my first winter with silkies and frizzles. Any advice on what extras they may need?

NOON<

I can't believe how much I got done.

wood chips around the green house.
wood chips on the septic tank.
stacked the remaining wood chips onto a high pile.
quite surprised at how much they have composted already.
dropped off the back blade, put on the drag and dragged the whole garden. once over was all it took. worked up really nice.. very surprised at how wet it was considering we had no rain for weeks..
next project has to be to clean out the chicken coop.
it is a real mess in there.
have to replace a few ceiling tiles in there also..

Dinner going in the crock pot, oil in the snow blower, mower, and car all changed. Sugar beets unloaded, trail camera up, and 4 deer cut up. Maybe a hour nap is in store. Hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful day!

Trying to post again without problems......Congrats on the buck Dae , it was a nice one. I bagged a good eater buck the last week of October, and hope for a bigger one with the gun...they all are good to me!
Great job on the truck repair cw....beats paying the big dollars......thanks for asking bl4 how we are doing....mostly good daily. Robin, you are the rock God....rock on! Raked enough leaves for prolly 3 lifetimes.....sad that I have another lifetime to rake yet.....maybe I'll hope for a strong wind to finish the job.
Welcome to the cheeseheads bawk....stay and visit awhile.
We had the annual chicken dinner fund raiser last Thursday...sorry for no heads up in advance for folks that would attend....my puter has been having fits....the turnout was good and the chicken was perfection with not much left for workers to take home.......sorry about Ken... you know Jim.
