If it was any more difficult, I would have just said forget it.

We are home again! Whew! The refugee camp over on BYH was fun but there's no place like home. So very glad I wasn't Nifty all week (bet he's ready to enter therapy by now) but I actually like the new format. Much smaller learning curve than I expected.

Not too bad..... glad I could remember my password.

The plot thickens on the property...... our counter was outright rejected; we were told there was a much higher offer. Then they took it off the market! I had my realtor contact their agent; found out that since they could not come to an agreement their attorney advised them to pull the listing for a year or two. We might have another option, time will tell.

Glad you found your ways back. I'm terrible at learning new stuff on the puter. Hard to teach a old dog new tricks....we really were poured on here Jim, but no damage done....yesterday and the day before I worked like a dog to get the first garden in....just in time for the rain to settle the seeds...should be some great germination on the first garden. It will be awhile till I will be able to work on the next garden...it's a mud pie for now.
Hopin you can buy the place bl4....I hate those kina games.
One of my best buddies at camp passed yesterday....sad day for sure. Funeral on Thursday...

Welcome back everyone!!! Talk about withdrawal! As far as my fence goes, yes it keeps the dogs out. We have little dogs (dachshund, Chihuahua and Min Pin) and 1 shepherd. The shepherd stays out when the garden is planted but the little guys like to dig!

That super cell JUST missed us! Hope all of you are ok, I am so sad for the folks in Barron county . All we received was A LOT of high winds and rain but our thick woods on our back 40 to our north and west protected us again. So glad now we didn't get that logged off yet. The potato flats to the south took a beating but nothing like to our west. What a mess. I hope they can account for the last of the missing this morning.
Only real damage we had oddly enough, was a bear tried to take advantage of the storm as cover and tried to break thru our run fence. Thankfully the fence held and it only managed to bend the top 2 ft where the fencing isn't doubled (that's on purpose so it can't support the weight of any large critters, like bears). We learned a long time ago that, at least our bears, will stop trying to climb if they feel the top of the fence isn't going to support them.

good morning after the storms.

we got about 20 minutes of real hard rain,then it lightened up for the next couple of hours. at 4 AM it had quit.

I was afraid all of the nice apple and plum blossoms would by lying on the ground this morning. but the trees look just fine.

we washed the deck off yesterday. should have waited and let the storm do it..

sorry to hear about your friend, Brent.
but we are in that age group .........
Annie and I are hearing about high school mates passing every month.
As long as I am hearing about them, at least it is not me...
