Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Hotter than blazes out today. I stayed inside. We got just shy of 4.5 inches of rain last night. Several towns around us were hit hard with winds or possible tornadoes. We had almost no damage. Garden is well watered but we are supposed to get more rain tonight. I would gladly share it with those of you who need it if I could just figure out how to turn a storm.

Jealous of the bee swarm! I really want bees again.

Jim, I don't know how much you are getting for your pups, but I saw an ad for some and they were charging $1000.

I am charging $600,oo for the pups.
they are weaned already. 5 weeks old yesterday.

all of our window AC 's are working fine.
I think we decided that we will just transfer them into the wall. I measured the side intake vents and we have plenty of room..

I got all of the side walls removed from the lean to. the rafters are attached to the garage. they are holding tight.
I can hang on them and they won't break loose.
I guess I build too good.

I won't do any more weeding in the garden.
the corn is chin high, the beans are about ready to burst with fruit, and the potato vines are spreading out nicely.. the tomatoes are starting to blossom..

Back up out of bed today...I'm grateful for that. Thanks for the kind words sent my way. Good to read everyone is doing fine. FFF will be baked haddock and baked potatoes. I'm not in the mood to mess with the outside cooker tonight.
Some of the garden is doing really good, especially the weeds without any attention for a while. Last year I had great onions, and this year they are smallish for sure. Plenty of other stuff looking great.

good to see you upinadam Brent,.
I forgot to look at my onions. the last time I did look there were a lot of nice tops.
I think the beets might be coming up, too.

rain ? what rain ? it was cloudy most of the day here.

I got a little more ripped off of the old lean to. stepped on a nail, it didn't come through my sole. had to take the shoe off to pull the nail out.

I have a list of material to go to Menard's for tomorrow. last day of the 11% mail in rebate.

instead of making a few trips with my truck, I am going to have them deliver.
I have enough things to do in the otherwise..

I might have a buyer for all of my chickens. even the roosters. $100.oo takes the whole kit and kabootle . she didn't want the one old rooster, but I said, all or nothing..

I think there are about 24 total chickens.

hello
great minds think alike.
yesterday I went grocery shopping with Annie up in Merrill. I seldom go with her.. I picked out a package of pork ribs for doing on the grill.
I haven't done them yet. everybody scattered at supper time around here today.
I will try to get them done on Sunday.

although it was warm today, we did not turn on the AC. the ceiling fans were enough .

Cross all your digits: we put an offer in on a property.

Glad to see you are up and about Brent.

You all make me jealous with all the activities you are involved in. I am just itching to get some property and get my own projects started.

Will keep you all posted.

Thanks for the kind words...slowly improving is good.
Good luck with the house offer bl4....how about some details?
This is a rainy summer for sure dae....glad it's not snow, we would all be looking for a place to go with it.
Kinda funny me and suzie just discussed having country style ribs on the weber tomorrow....that's a trifecta of ribs.
Still have bowl of chicken soup left...prolly breakfast or lunch.
