I am so bummed I missed the bash! I ended up having a family event come up. I'm counting on next year's bash now with an entry for the salsa contest.

The oppossums are getting so big! They are too wiggly to get a good picture but they stay still when the dog approaches.

No baby yet, just mild labor pains now and again.
seems odd to be anticipating the birth despite the pain involved..

I had a single call duck hatch and the duck wasn't taking care of it. None of the eggs under any broody were close to hatching so I called someone to pick up a few of his cull wyandottes (had single combs). When I got there he was boxing up cotton patch geese to ship. There was one little guy with a bad neck. I asked if I could have it. I took it home, force fed it some gro-gel and as of last night, it was doing great. Now to figure out what to do with a goose.

Hello from La Crosse (I work in WI but live in MN).

Not much happening here.... hoping to take the hubs kayaking Sunday after some bloody mary’s! TO those were awesome!

Going to try and fill flower beds with the clearance flowers. Purple seems to be the trend so far.....

Hoping I can snag some garden veggies too.

Adjusting to having the hubs back at the house...... after living apart for over a year we are re-adjusting to cohabitation.....

DD is finishing up her first week as an intern.... I think she likes it, too soon to tell though. It is nice having 3/4 of my kids home...... too soon this will end.

Babylady, my husband worked in Colorado for 3 years. It was a big adjustment when he came back to work in MN and was back in our house full time.

The biggest surprise with having chickens is how entertaining they are. I honestly didn't think they would be this interesting. They all have their own personalities.
